@labbern He can't. He doesn't have an amp or a vibrato. He needs an amp for the feedback and the vibrato to make the the different sounds. He might need a killswitch as well, that would make three things.

For the solo, you could add a little kill-switch on the control plate! I saw some tutorials about doing that on google! It's quite easy to do, if you know how to solder!
