  • The sound comming from that thing is extraordinary

  • Fine piece, handsome instrument, fine playing! More please, Michael ;-}

  • This is one of the many Michael Hendron performances at his best. It must also be one of the Casey Pratt restorations at his best as well. What a fantastic performance on a fantastic instrument!

  • Thanks; and, BTW, I need to find out exactly how you record your Berlin organ. The sub bass has a thump/attack like I have never heard. I have enjoyed your recordings very much indeed. Especially the entertaining "Alley Cat":.

  • Ottimo

  • This is absolutely incredible! WOW! I can't believe that this is a reed organ! Too bad you can't find instruments being built like this anymore. :-(

  • Wow, this is a Reed organ?!

  • A very sophisticated, capable and expensive instrument.. This sold for $600 originally. About the same as a Ford automobile.

  • where is the score available??

  • Mr. Hendron found it at the Library of Congress. It was published by Arthur P. Schmidt Boston (USA) and London. It dates to 1892.

  • the aeolian harp is fabulous!!!

  • Esto me encanta, me recuerda el vuelo de las aves...

  • Thanks,

    It's not me playing, but the stop is the Eolian Harp bass, the melody line starts with Corno 16' in the treble staff.

  • Waw, I just discovered your YouTube page ! What a great channel, I subscribed :) Is that a celeste or vox humana stop you're using at the beginning of the song ?

    See you soon, Bob (reeds lover, Belgium).
