  • Always get a lump in my throat when I hear this piece!! British & so proud!! This version is very solid & classy! So pleased this piece was played at the recent royal wedding!! Nice choice Kate & William.

  • Nice job, but the conducting was much too labored and forced.

  • This song is HARD :)

    good job!!!

  • Yes! This is the best version indeed!! Please post the complete video!!

    Thank you!!

  • What awesome sound from this brass band! Might have been even better had

this band played the whole piece.

  • sounds better with woodwinds...

  • Great band (Apart from the elephant on 0:36)! Do they do requests? They should do Copland's 'Fanfare for the Common Man'. More of Walton's music here: megaupload. com/?d=KCEFED01

  • Arg - someone get this ensemble better microphones!

  • For the sheer amount of soprano in the ensemble, the intonation is amazing! Not perfect, but amazing.

  • This brings back so many memories. Our high school band played this in concert in 1969. I love this composition.

  • Apparently Sir William Walton's composition was chosen over that of Sir Arnold Bax (then Master of the King's Music)Quite rightly too

  • This is the only version on You Tube worth listening to. Please will someone post the complete composition. Another excelent version was conducted by Herbert Wilcox(played on Radio 3 25/3/08) Can anyone oblige?

  • The sound produced is AMAZING

  • Very evocative, but where is the rest of it???

  • だれだか、Ebコルでスゴい抜けてる人がっ

    一度、髭指揮で吹いてみたいねぇー
