well to be honest they sound pretty similar to me 'cept the HRD is louder. The HRD in this video isn't mine BTW. I have a 1973 Pro Reverb and that is more my sound, very clean with very progressive compression. My other channel has lots of videos with my Pro Reverb. Search for "airesound", I can't seem to link to it.

@tristram505 Ok cheers, I am trying one of the deluxe reveb reissues out this week in the shop, as the owner is my mate, and he has one on order for some one, so when it arrives I am going in to give it a whirl, if the I play sounds the same on the reverb as it does on the HRDx I am not going to get one, if it brings out my playing then I will maybe get a silverface online.
