why does the rock band version have you say "about as close as you've been" and in the guitar hero version it has you say "about as close as you dare"
Agreed, but to a point. On some songs, they WAYYY overcharted to the point you can't beat it, like Hot for Teacher. Now granted it's a difficult song, but I can play the damn intro on a real guitar and can't do it on the game!

For 3:27 on, when guitar solo hits, i think thast the biggets difference and GH focuses more on the lead guitar solo while RB focuses more on maintaining the rhythem guitar.
I prefer GH's take on it, since when playing the solo on a real guitar that is the tricky part
