  • 1.This guy is way too big for this horse.

    2. This horse looks way to young to be started

3.This did nothing beneficial, and only taught this horse to buck.

Congrats guy in the video..... Some people have no common sense at all.

  • yes this is a very good way to break a horse... Im glad my horse had enough spirit to go threw this and not be broken. Horses that are broken are boring, and i think its really sad when u cant look in a horses eyes and see the fire of a free spirit.

  • @atolifarms it is. Just wish people would take the time to do things right the first time around. I'm still working on my horse that the previous owner thought that training consisted of a two by four and nails. Glad I have him and get the satisfaction of rubbing it in her every day with how well he is doing : -)

  • how many times has the horse worn a saddle and had a rider previous to this video?

  • I just started training a horse and I was sooooooo lucky he didn't do this the first time I got on, he's only been under saddle a few times too; his half brother however, was not so kind and took on an attitude like this guy (super glad I wasn't the one on him)

  • You dont ride out bucks til their tired, you ride out bucks til they stop. If you get off when they buck, they think, "Ok so ill just continue to buck cuz that makes her get off" You have to ride out bucks, whether on a two year old or a fully veteraned horse, or else they will continue to no end. Believe me, my horse bucks everytime anything comes near his rear end, whether b/c he was previously abused or just doesn't understand a whip, and I just gotta ride it out.

  • sorry but you´re to heavy for horse like this!!!

  • @ MorganTaylor2010 You do not have to be an All Natural Horseman to see this was cutting corners when training the horse. Lazy training and cutting corners will always get someone hurt. But as I have learned and seen through the years most people like him and you could care less as long as they can make a quick buck....

  • @PsychoDanna1 obviously I am aware of that however do you think in the old days people took 6 months-a year to teach all the ground manners? nope soo some people are still stuck in that training method and being that this horse seems like it will just be a ranch horse I don't think they really care

  • Just looks some guy who is trying to show off. It shows that you have not done enough/any ground work. It looks to me that he is trying to be some billy badass. I wonder why we have so many bad horses out there. This is the same kind of person who would stand there and tell a potential buyer ? "Yes sir he is dead broke, no vises, trail/show ready and of course your kid can ride this horse." Wrong way to go about Breaking a horse in...The video is proof enough.

  • @PsychoDanna1 Sad isn't it...these guys like to think that they are impressing people with their lazy 'macho' ways...

  • Some of you are very ignorant. Not everyone does the natural horsemanship nice nice routine. This guy handled this horse very well he wasn't yanking him around or kicking the hell outta him. He stayed calm and waited for the horse to give to him, once this happened all pressure was released and the horse walked off no problem.

  • @MorganTaylor2010 i agree with you, but the way the horse was asking i wouldve checked to be sure that the tack fit right, the way the horse was freaking out ans swishing his tail and throwing his head around and stuff... but idk it could just be the way he acts to the saddle for the first time, but im just throwin ideas out there...

  • @Papa96Bear That is possible however it seemed to just be him rebeling against it as he settled down pretty much after his little fit.

  • @MorganTaylor2010 oh okay, just throwing ideas out there is alll

  • That guy is to big for that horse. He's just trying to cowboy up that horse, to wear it out so it won't buck later on, when really, he could be teaching the horse not to buck in the first place. Poor little guy, there's no good leadership going on here. Just a scared little horse, and an old "cowboy".

  • @S0XF0X Actually that horse is most likely being trained. Or in other words is just getting used to being ridden and no not everybody does the nice nice routine. Hell our filly we just saddled up and threw someone up on she did buck a few times but settled down. It's a learning process the same as they get when you put a saddle on.

  • @MorganTaylor2010 Yes, but what I'm saying is that you can teach a horse to deal with having someone on it's back without having it buck. But because people want to be fast with horses, they just ride 'em out until they're too tired. The horse isn't learning much that way, it's just being scared until it's too tired to keep trying to run or buck. If you work with your horse right, it should try to buck this hard as it would have learned to actually deal with it's fear of a rider.

  • @S0XF0X that is where you are wrong. You have no idea of what prep this horse has had. I have known horses who have people have waited till 5-6 to break done tons of prep, ground work and such and the horse still bronced out. This horse did not look terrified he just looked like he didn't fully understand what to do and once he stopped he was completely calm and not shaking or anything.

  • @S0XF0X As I said not every horse will have a buck free first ride. Yes they could have taken it slower, however not everyone does and this horse looked like it was just fine not tired at all. Also you can not necessarily rid a horse of fear of having a rider before you ride it. I knew a horse that the owner did 2 years of groundwork with him went for the first ride and the horse through a fit. It is very different having someone above them.

  • Major wannabe cowboy. Just like every other person these days. Just cuz u got the hat dnt mean nothin.

  • There is never a right or wrong way to handle a horse.... that sounds bad but if you think about it, its true.

some horse people i know dont lay a hand on their horses, and others do. like if the horse bites, some will smack it some wont.

this Man only mad a few mistakes. one of them was the spurring but sometimes that isnt on purpose. the thrusting can cause your legs to move etc.

and the Round pen he was in probably isnt the best idea, but not terribly bad.

  • Wow really people do you expect everyone who rides to be a freakin twig? He looks like a normal weight for a guy.

  • Lose some weight fat boy. it ain't fair to your horse. for everyone who thinks this horse is too young yall are dumb as hell this horse is at least two years old. the only thing wrong in this is the fat boy.

  • Get your fat ass off this PONY and get a HORSE you wanna-be.

  • Good job on keeping your balance!! :)

  • Ayup, break his mouth, break his back, break his heart. That's the highlight of a western "cowboys'" day. Worst riders in the world, bar none. Horse is a baby, look how low his fetlocks went as that idiot ruined him for life. Another piece of shit, bound for slaughter when this asshat's done. Not surprised some say "that's how it's done". By sadists. Poor colt.

  • @ZTA41029 I'd like to see you ride that

  • that wasnt even a buck that wasnt shit !!!!

  • First that looks like a 1 or 2 year old horse Imo start breaking horses at they're age 3-3 1/2 I've broke my horse so I understand breaking horses... Also start with Ground work... Then move to putting tack on when the horse is ok then try to mount don't try to ride till he's ready. Natalie.

  • @HordeGirlForever Many horses can start being broken at 2 years. Our farm has been doing that since the very beginning, and we've never had a horse with joint issues or behavioral issues due to that. You can start a horse at 18 months (ridderless until about age 2) on the flat with ground work and carrying a saddle. It's all about how much weight you have on their back versus what their growing bones can handle.

  • Don't like it one bit >:(

  • That horse aint even buckin, i been on horse that make that one look like a wimp

  • His fucking teeth hurt.

  • Dude hes way too big for that horse, the bit is hurting him, and the horse looks too young. Damn. Poor horse.

  • a. That horse looks way to young to ride and

    b. If it is at riding age I would get its teeth checked that seams to be what this is about

  • If the horse bucks you like that, it's time ot get off and do some respect training, not practice your rodeo moves. Get Jaba the Hut off that yearling. Nice riding to stay on, but it wouldn't have bucked so much if you finished the groundwork prior to getting on. You just watched the result of cutting corners in training.

  • @LowkeeLT Okay, He may train his horse anyway he likes to,and so what if he put his arm up? Why should you care? Maybe he wanted to have some fun with it.

And heck,we spent about 3 years with my gelding trying to do groundwork with him and he did the same thing as soon as the saddle was placed on his back.

  • the guy is too big for that horse .. that isnt getting the horse used to a rider thats making the animal in pain and he needs the pain to go away.. buck.. get it?

  • i dont know why everyone is saying hes too big, if he was dangeroulsy to big the horse wouldn't be able to rear like that, anyway it says My ride on a bucking horse so its probably not even his, just a cowboy activity or something.... he wouldn't have been on it for long so shut up!

  • That guy is a few hundred pounds too big for that little horse.

  • This partner only wishes he could ride a real bronc . This horse is only bucking because you won't quit spuring his sides and doesn't know what else to do.

  • He's to big for that horse it will navicular soon if he keeps riding at.

  • WTF!!!!!

  • Anyone else think this guy is a bit big for this horse?

  • @StereotypicalMiss That's what I thought. He's a good rider, but I can't tell if he's too big or if the horse is too small.

  • @angela122345678 Yeah I guess it could be the horse!

  • @StereotypicalMiss But saying that would you put a younger child/teenager on that? No, safety comes first tbh.

  • @BSWMHarleySJ Oh yeah absolutely not. Agreed! I'm just saying maybe a lighter yet experienced person. Not sure, at least he can't really buck him off! :D

  • This is an unfair evaluation of the horse.he is scared and confused because someone almost his weight is on him with long spurs jabbing his sides.he has every right to want to rid himself of the wannabe hero on him. If trained properly prior to this abuse he would not have been bucking and if the human had some consideration for him he would not even use those spurs as knives stabbing in his side.its evident this person has no horse skills. Those that think bucking is normal are uneducated

  • @atolifarms

Have you ever even riden a horse in training? you clearly have no idea what your talking about, i spent quite along time just working on ground work with my mustang, and he acted even worse then this when we decided to start riding him, i didnt even put a saddle on him and had no spurs, its just instinct that will fade over time.

  • @blackwolvesforever yes...I TRAIN colts! :D but nice try. Never had a colt buck like that, but then again most of us aren't abusive - grasping his face and spurring is not breaking a colt. This colt is clearly confused and scared. Thank goodness my horses have never had to deal with such ignorance.

  • @atolifarms so a horse bucking is not normal???? or natural???? HMMMMMM... I COULDA SWORE IT'S A NATURAL INSTINCT... lol I GUESS YOUR ONE OF THOSE TRAINERS THAT TRAIN FROM THE GROUND??? LOL.... WE DON'T RIDE HORSES FROM THE GROUND WATCHING........ :)

  • @MrJohnjohn04 Actually the first horse I broke when I was 12, I did not 'train on the ground'. But then again. I wasn't oversized for the mare, nor did I have a little pen for her to buck in with spurs and enticing her to get upset...and she ended up being a provincial champ...huh imagine that. I'm so glad my horses have never had to deal with this crap..natural instinct my horses' rears...never had a horse buck because of a first ride. In fact, I think the last colt I broke, I rode bareback huh

  • @atolifarms WOW!! ... :)

  • @MrJohnjohn04 FYI my mentor trained under Charles O. Williamson...I'm sure you don't know his methods. He published a very popular book 'breaking and training the stock horse' in the 1950s. Perhaps you should look it up and read the chapter about tact.

  • @atolifarms perhaps you should read it......! if you have actually read sum of his stuff... you would see that he's has a chapter about bucking horses..... but anyways...CAN'T BREAK A HORSE READING A BOOK!! AND THERE'S COUNTLESS BOOKS OUT THERE TELLING YOU HOW TO DO IT! BUT THERE'S ONLY ONE WAY IT WILL GET DONE...... JUST DO IT! :)

  • Probably a youngster or a mare in heat...

I can tell you, a mare in heat is NOT fun to handle! I own a mare an she gets really agitated when in heat, thats the only time I use silkgloves when riding, otherwise, I eat dust...

  • This is to hard!! Terrible!!

  • HE WAS TOO BIG!

  • FUCK FUCK FUCK IS ALL THAT BITCHING PEICE OF SHIT OF A MAN DOES!

  • Everyone has their own way of training horses, while I agree more with the working from the ground up before putting a saddle on but that's just me. Is it just me or does the rider look a bit to big (tall) for this horse?? Maybe the horse'll grow.

But, seriously, this horse just looks a bit new to a rider and a lil frisky. (:

    Oh, and pretty horse. (:

  • the only thing wrong is the horse is young and it needs a little more training experience!! other wise that horse will be a great horse:)

  • the only thing wrong is the horse is younf=g and it needs a little more training experience!!

  • I think his saddle is to small but he stayed on really well

  • NICE STAYING ON!!!!!! :p

  • A young horse properly trained never has reason to buck. I speak from personal experience growing up with horses. If ours bucked, it was because a saddle didn't fit right, or they were frightened by some "outside" source when everything (saddle, rider, etc) was still new experience for him

  • oh give me a break poor horse..its fine thats kinda how you break a horse but sir that saddle is gonna kill you one day lol

  • @Rrodeogirl1992

That's not at all how you break a horse. You start from the ground up- literally. Work with the horse from the ground so that when you're at the point where it's ready for a saddle, it doesn't do things like this. I trained the mare I have now in the manner I just mentioned and has NEVER once bucked while I, or any other rider, have been on her back. And she's eight years old. No bucking in her five year riding career. Imagine that.

  • @LoriTheGorey That's not neccessarily true about horses bucking because they're not ready. I've seen horses with tonnes of education buck out of good spirits, or who like testing the waters by throwing one in. You sometimes even see some of the horses at international events buck because they're excited.

  • @squirttle92

Does that horse look just "excited"? No.

  • That man is WAY TOO BIG to be on this poor little horse. Shame on him!!!

  • that is probably a bad first horse get an older mare that's well broke

  • i got a friend giveing me a Mustang that he got from the BLM i was told this mustang was the herd leader this will be my frist horse ever and if i can ride him it'll be the frist horse i'll ever have rode. any Ideas ?

  • @Pitviper4Gunrights if u never rode before and this horse isnt broke dont ride it! you'll get hurt very bad or even killed!!

  • @fancyskillet94 lol i'm not going to get him and go yehaw LOL i'm going to work with him get him use to me pulss my friends going to help me they been working with him alot he's doing beeter but still got a ways to go.

  • @Pitviper4Gunrights get a rancher not a trainer to work him for you. if you havn't done it before your setting the horse up to fail. rick gore or david le archer are great and won't cost you a fortune in dvd's like some programs.

  • This is just a young horse getting used to the feel of someone on his back guys. No problem here, it was nicely ridden and handled.

  • @qtrhorse89 agreed, the man didn't hit him or kick him, just sat back and let him get it out of the system. He didn't jerk him around in the bridle but kept a firm hold so he couldn't get his head down to far.

People are being way to hard on this video. The man ins't to big, it's probably only a two year old. Anyone would be to big for that horse and still have the skill to break it.

  • @qtrhorse89

it is a horrible ride with the rider spurring a horse not ready for the ride. A perfect example of pure abuse and no horse sense.

  • @atolifarms I'm not sure if you're aware of this but this isn't a "horrible ride". This is called breaking a horse. It's something that has to be done. It's only wrong when people do it for sport/entertainment. This is a crucial part of training for many horses.

  • @StereotypicalMiss

Pardon? Its called abuse...yes i ride/show horses without this nonsense...proper TRAINING is allowing a horse to understand about riding not making them buck. Looks like this guy has a HUGE ego therefore has to abuse this horse...sick IMO

  • @atolifarms Hmm, maybe it's my idiot yearlings :D. No matter how hard I try they still buck during training. but as soon as they have a few miles put on them and a little time in the saddle they straighten right up. And he is riding a bit too hard for a yearling like this one. he should really learn to have more patience with him (her?) But you're right. This guy is an egomaniac.

  • Its just a baby!

  • I think he rode the horse through this pretty softly, no one should really say anything bad.

  • That horse is no yearling! it has thick legs and is well proportioned! most yearlings are gangly things with long legs. and the tail is no way to mesure a horses age! i got a 15year old mare that i was training and her tail was just as short! I work with problem horses and this horse is just testing the boundrys and problably had no relatinship with the rider.

  • @AngelHeartStables11 I think this is a young horse... maybe not a yearling but, a yearling shouldn't be under saddle yet anyways... I'm guessing a two, three year old.

I wouldn't judge to much on the tail, we have a three year old that's tail drags the ground, and an 8 year old that has hardly no tail at all. It just depends on how the tail is taken care of or how the horse is about their tail.

  • @SaddlebredFancy i agree with u its brobably a badly trained or miss treated 2 - 3 year old

  • @SaddlebredFancy i agree with u its probably a badly trained or miss treated 2 - 3 year old its sure not a mature horse

  • wie oft soll dyas pferd denn noch mit dem kopf gegen den zaun knallen pferde muss man mit liebe behandeln und nich nahc den motto du machst das was ich will oder ich zwinge dich

  • My goodness he's persistent! Great job hanging on.

  • and also how do you no that he dint just cut the tail its possible no person that can even brake a horse will risk there horse just to brake them earler if the did they would be down right stupid im sure he just cut it when you get ahold of the owner and he says " the horse is 1 then i will be sad other wise looks like a man breaking his horse

  • ok for one no one no's that the horse is young he is breaking it the shaking head is an action from being not used to the bit the bucking is from being not used to the saddle and weight on his back HE IS NOT TO HEAVY for it this horse is probly a 3 to 4 year old and is just learning to be rode and he is doing mighty well compared to some horses i have seen being broke who will do anything to get u off there back and the man is doin a very good job also dont judge what you dont understand

  • @jessicalana91 TROLL. TROLL IN THE COMMENTS!! Troll the comments.

  • @jessicalana91 i agree the fat guy is bigger than the horse

  • @jessicalana91

Looks to be a typical wanna-be "cowboy".....why waste your time.

  • its clearly a tooth problem as the horse shakes his head when he pulls on the reins but then again he does pull pretty hard ah well cool horse vid YEEEHAAWWW

  • This guy has to weigh heaps over what this little pony can safely carry. Apart from that, the horse is just a yearling. Check out its tail! It shouldn't be getting ridden by anyone, let alone a huge man like this! This is going to deform the poor horse's growing spine and he'll end up swayback. Just disgusting. And no, I'm not from the city. I rescue horses that have been abused by machos like this guy..

  • @MrRexrules r u really judging this horses age by its fuckin tail?!? They could of freakin cut it for all u know. That horse is in no way shape or form a yearling! 1) The horse is too big to be a yearling believe me i seen many yearlings of a lot of breeds. 2) If it was a yearling the horse would have a hard time carrying his weight when clearly its not. This horse is simply smaller in size than most. I am not saying i'm an expert or know everything cause im not. Its just common sense!

  • @foxroks1 you should look at your self in a mirror mate becuse this is not a cut tail and belive me I have been the owner of to foals and one yealing I know what a yearling tail looks like this horse Is a yearling and this guy is to much of a tank to be riding this foal this is hurting this yearlings back

  • @MrRexrules Its not a yearling!!! It's too big to be a yearling! There are yearlings at my barn and they r only half this horses size! Just because you've had two foals doesnt mean anything!! Its not like "oh i've owned a couple foals now i know everything." Seriously get a life!! This man is in no way hurting this HORSE! You cant always judge a horses age by its size or by its god damn tail! When a vet or someone wants to know the age of a horse they look at their teeth NOT the tail!

  • @foxroks1 have you not heard of warmbloods and horses like that this yearling may be a big yearling or it could just me a very short and fat man though I think we will go with big yearling everything about this horse is yearling this horse is a yearling this man should not be riding him he is probably at the most 18 months old I rest my case

  • @MrRexrules Yes i have been around warmblood yearlings they are still not that big! Dont comment if u dont know what your talkin about. No one that i know goes by a horses age by their tail. Your just one of those people who think they know everything just because they have owned or do own horses. People like u disgust me. End of disscusion :P

  • damn you must be from the city, leave to the people who know what their doing. Everything from the hat to your body position SUCK and that wasnt a BUCK that was a crow hop I could ride that when I was 5.... Leave it to the cowgirls hunny

  • umm how old is that horse?

  • i love how people come on youtube and all of a sudden become horse experts! come on guys you don't know what the problems was with the pony, i'm just glad the guy stayed on! really what would you do if your horse was bucking? jump off? that teaches them to buck more, most vids on youtube aren't abusive so stop saying poor horse when the horse is jsut being bad.

  • Ah it let me reply! And yes, there are good hands that do it the way drunkencowboy said, but I should have said good horsemen - not just working cowboys. And no - I didn't mean dvd's. But hey, you can snub a horse and get your job done if you need to.

  • Ugh this won't let me reply. Actually "real" cowboys mostly ride atv's now, and no - i'm not a proponent of the pretty boys with their tv-shows and trailer with their faces on them. I'm talking about learning stuff from the good horseman, having good hands and feel instead of getting on a horse in a ridiculous hat with crap in the pen and having your video taken.

  • I think you did great. You kept the head up where it couldnt really buck, and you waited it out. Thats what I do. All these idiots on here saying that you're doing it wrong need to get a life. REAL cowboys dont watch movies and read books to train their horses....and they sure as heck dont criticise others' training. Maybe some of these people should talk less and listen a little more, they might actually learn something.

    Good luck, and pretty horse!

  • ok what is goin to happen when that horse gets out in a pasture where he can really buck, i personally hate riding in a small pen because the smaller the pen the easier it is to get injured unless of course you cant ride a horse that can really jump and kick, and if you start a horse right it wont buck by the time that it can actually do some damage

  • what the hell the guy twice as big as the damn horse

  • ok that round pen is way too small and that horse wasnt even buckin that wasnt even a crow hop, get him out in a pasture where his footing is good and lots of room and then see how hard he can buck

  • @legrider2010 you want a small round pen, if it gets too big it gives the horse the advantage, gives him room to get momentum going. I prefer to use 30 to 35 ft round pen, gives enough room to move but not enough to really start turning the crank

  • Wow, horsemanship at its worst. Way to go, yahoo. Try taking the spurs off, and stop ganking him in the flank. Oh yeah - and get the stuff out of the round pen before you begin your shenanigans. Read some Ray Hunt and Bill Dorrance and read what REAL cowboys do.

  • REAL cowboy's get a horse that is untouched, tie a foot up or snub the horse up, saddle them. Let them go and buck out, then tie their head around to the left til he starts giving, then same for the right. Then crawl on, ride the rough out, make them turn right, then turn left. Then head outside, and do what you need to do. You can't read how to break a horse, you just do it.

  • @threehorsez REAL cowboys dont watch DVD's to break their horses

  • Hey, Fatass pick on someone your own size.

  • maybe if you would get your fat ass off this tiny horse and let him actually grow a little before you ride him, maybe he would be better. hmmm that sounds like a good idea to me. idiot.

  • This horse is tiny and the guy has his hand up like hes riding some bronc at the rodeo! I would rather see someone hold the horn than see them try to show off with their hand in the air. oh and big hat guy called and want his big hat back!!

  • @tripletshiner Totally agree with you. what an Idiot!!

  • Asshole.

  • SEID IHR KRANK ALTER ?!-.-' WIE KANN MAN EINEM FOHLEN SOWAS ANTUN ?!-.-''

  • Its a baby :'(

  • he is barely even bucking!

  • Why is a 250 pound guy riding a 1 year old horse? Yanking on it's mouth while it bashes around terrified is no way to train a horse to be responsive, but riding a young horse whose bones haven't finished growing and whose brain is still a baby's is REALLY dumb as well as abusive. This baby will need hock injections and glucosamine for its severe arthritis by 10 years old. Horses should be broke at maybe 3 years, more like 4. Why? webertrainingstables. com/ ridingyoung.cfm

  • Looks like the rider is stirring him up if you ask me, but I don't know the circumstances... Naughty colt, Decent! rider haha.

  • This is NOT a cowboy. I am a trainer from Texas and start ranch colts. When they buck, yes, ride em through it. Although, on a horse that's actually bucking, not crow-hopping, it's usually good idea to have a BACK CINCH and PULL HIS DANG HEAD AROUND!!!! It's people like this that give us all a bad name and image!!!

  • @DrangedCattleCo exactly! see finally someone who knows what there saying!

  • People who say this horse is abused is wrong.Yeah, the horse hit the gate, ouchies. He would've stopped.Did he,nope. He rode it through, that's the way cowgirls+boys do it.I own a black American Mustang named Ace Of Spades, and I pretty much do the same thing. Now he is the best mannered horse you will ever meet, never bucked, bit,or anything after I gave him a good ride.

It's called laying down the law.

  • all your trying to do is make yourself look amazing by failing at riding one handed, and letting the colt injure himself in the process. idiot -.- and @CountryPlayList urm, the horse is resorting to running into the fence, that what hurt wouldnt it?

  • But you got to admit...this guy can buck out a colt. But he never man handled the colt. he just rode him through it and kept pushing him forward not letting him win.The colt didn't get the release till he was good. This colt just might have been a foundation horse with lots of buck in him. I think this guy did good.

  • tighten your cinch lol

  • WTF! That is not the way to train a horse. It is just angering the horse more and more. If you keep doing that the horse will become mean. My horse has never done that because he was not illy-used by anyone. What the heck show-off! Putting your hand up like that! What are you trying to do train the horse to be a bucking horse! Thats cruel!

  • the poor horse! :(

  • wow, what a badass. NOT! you must be from texas, because you are making no apparent effort to stop him bucking, and trying to show that you are a real cowboy by riding him one handed! fag. ever think about doing some groundwork dipshit?

  • @mightybroncy no, some horses buck during training others don't, most people ride it out with a younger horse, the horse isn't in pain nor is he/she getting hurt, the horse is throwing a temper tantrum, he/she will get over it. groud work does help when it comes to riding but how would ground work help with bucking? unless you lung it til you get some of the extra energy out it. having a person on its back is a lot different than it being on the ground next to them

  • Comment removed

  • cowboys are so dumb sometimes

  • You're a bit too big for that colt. Though bucking a horse out may be "fun," there are faster, better ways to train a horse nowadays. I'm not saying that "natural horsemanship" is the way to go, because most of that is all bullshit. But, Bucking a horse out in a paneled round pen is a good way to break a horse's leg. Build one with solid walls. But like I said, do some ground work first before hopping on. Work WITH or the horse, not against it.

  • Oh man. What is it with people having the idea that animals need to be handled with silken gloves? This same pattern repeats over and over in the discussion of every single animal-related video on youtube, which leads me to believe that there's a whole lot of people who have too much time on their hands, and too little understanding of the animals themselves.

  • @UnclePutte

Sad people think they have to spur an unprepared horse...after the ride did he care the horse probably had a sore back/mouth/sides because this fool has to spur the buck out of him? There are much better methods that keep your equine in top shape and no...im not talking babying a horse with 'games'

  • you are just hurding him!! with your spurs by kicking him all the time!!

    ow gosh...poor horse

  • It looks like you're wearing spurs and your kicking the horse horse while wearing them. It hurts the horse when you kick them while wearing spurs and that might be the cause of him bucking. My horse never rears or bucks but one time my friend's sister was riding him and she was wearing spurs and she kicked him by accident because she forgot she was wearing them and he started bucking and crowhopping like a bronco!

  • this horse is in pain, or he's never had a rider on his back before, either way, this horse is hurting, he wouldn't behave like this if everything was fine.

  • there is a better way to train a horse to saddle than to put someone too heavy on a small horse

but unfortunately a lot of so called trainers like to show who is boss instead working with the horse. That man is a predator and I don't blame that horse for 1 minute to try and get him off his back. But unfortunately the horse is gonna be the one who will pay for the pain and abuse.

  • hmmm lets just put a 6 yr old on this horse and see how the child got along with it!

Thats why they put an adult who is capable of riding through the bucks instead of a litlle child!

  • jesus this horse can get down and boogie!! haha ;)

  • oooooo amazing, riding a yr old horse..that must take alot of guts. try a draft!! hehe you will really see if u can ride a buck XD

  • O man dude! You are a fucking bad ass! Do you think I could possibly get bronc riding lessons? Nooooooottttttt! thats pretty pathetic if you ask me. GET OVER YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!

  • can every bebody just give it a rest IM SORRY I DONT RIDE LIKE YOU OK LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!

  • I sure wouldn't call that bucking, maybe crowhoppin' a bit. That was pretty poor. My grandma could have rode that little dink of a horse, and where did you get a hat that big you tubby bitch?

  • @otlh69 ur real nice. Who really cares?!?!!?!?

  • not only the mouth and the spurs... this guy is way to big to get on a small horse like that. Or the rider has to lose some weight, or he has to look for a bigger horse.

  • @saminiky shut up that is not that small of a horse and he is not that big... ive roped 1800 pound bulls on smaller horses than that, horses are tools

  • @skreko27 horses are not tools, if you have ever had your own horse or ever cared about a horse you wouldn't say something like that. Your horse works with you, you don't just use them.

  • @skreko27 You fucking dick. If you've ever owned a horse and treated it fairly, you'd see horses are NOT tools. They work alongside you, and, keep at you're dumbass 'tool' riding, they'll work against you. Horses are stronger than men, and I will LMFAO if you get killed by one, which happens often.

  • @skreko27 uhu and you are a dumbass and dumbasses do dumb things like roping 1800 pound bulls on smaller horses than that :-)

  • @saminiky the guy isnt too small guys, horses can deal with probley 3x more his weight.

  • @saminiky There is nothing wrong with spurs this horse is not hurt he is being trained. Your not spose to let your horse get away with things...Horses are strong ... if he was going for a really long ride then he might be to much.

  • @breyercowgirl64 I agree about the long ride part. Ofcourse we don't know if this is horse is being broken, if it is, don't you think the guy is a bit to big? when a horse is riden the first time I think it's better to put someone lighter on his back, than the 'shock' isn't that big.

  • @saminiky true, this is a rather small horse who knows how old it is haha.
