Story Time: The day after Thanksgiving my Dad and his mom left to go back home. In less then one hour there was a water pipe that burst above my bed in the master bedroom. This destroyed my bed and the floor as well as the cieling. It just so happened

The day after Thanksgiving my Nana and Dad left in the morning. less then an hour later a water pipe above my bed in my room froze and burst. This destroyed my cieling carpet and bed. My Nana just happened to leave her blow up mattress and just happened to leave her linens that she just happened to bring ot my house.
This mattress and linens ended up being my bed for the next 2 weeks. I had to purchase a king bed which she just happened to by king size sheets and comforter that just happened to be delivered a day before our bed(she does not own a king). it gets better. 2 days later I found out a tree had its stump growin into my sewage line. This was lovely cuz then the sewer line backed up through the house through the shower.
This meant that our 3/2ba home was now a 2/0ba home
@TheRoseville5 I also feel that there is a lot more than the three realms you meantion, hell, here and heaven. hell and heaven obviously being the extremes, but i think the universe is full of possibility and our lives and this conversation is simply just one of them. But good and evil must have a relationship like you say to keep the balance, if it went too much either way the universe would spiral out of control

as you can imagine I was stressed to the hilt and had no idea how to get through the next days. What I did realize and see was that God was taking care of us and knew these things would happen way in advance. I mean I have no idea when my Nana bought those sheets. I found a portopotty til the plumbing worked again.
Now these are not the best conditions but our needs were met even if they weren't the greatest.
On Tuesday I had to make 4 beds, make dinner, feed the kids, make 3 dozen cookies from scratch and make it to Girl Scouts in 1 hour. I said God I cannot not do this. You have to help me. So, we made it to Girl Scouts and everything got done. I will never be able to tell you how it got done as I do not know how it did. All I know is that I asked God to help me and we made it on time. I see. I personally was raised christian but I do not agree with their fine print or their behavior and how they treat people so I have seperated myself from them. I personally am one who has had a personal relationship w/ Jesus Christ since the young age of 4. To me, God raised me and I therefore obey Him and no-one else including the Bible. I speak to Him and listen and obey Him directly daily. If I did not know Christ personally then I would have been dead by 16.
I am someone who says phoeey on religion and indoctrinated beliefs and thumbs up to ONLY a Personal Relationship w/ Jesus Christ. I am under the impression that man made up religion to make himself feel better and to give himself control of something and of somewhere there is no control to be had.

The bible says that where two or more are gathered in my name there I am in the midst. I am is one of His names too. Have you heard of the book The Shack? I suggest you read it. It is a ficional book based on different but similar real life events. I can share the story w/ you sometime. God just cares about spending time with use one on one.

I have not found that people talk much about hell and they seem to talk even less about God and Satan having a relationship with each other. @TheRoseville5 I should probably explain why i don't believe god is pure goodness, I guess it is because of my belief in balance, if the most powerful force in the universe was infinite love and goodness there would simply be no evil as the goodness wouldn't allow it, I have not read the shack though, is it any good? I read the book for a mormon book club I am no longer allowed to attend. apparently if you ask a mormon questions about their belief they call you a "spirit of contention" I fortunately do not know what that means and is about anyways...I was shocked at how amazing it was. chapter 4 is a bit intense but after that it is amazing and very eye opening. I haven't known anyone to think the way I do and this guy seemed to be spot on w/ my thoughts..it is definately a cool read :)

in my studies Satan was an angel in heaven who wanted to be God and God would not allow that so God cast Satan and his followers to a place called hell. so when God created the Earth. He gave Satan permission to roam it like a lion seeking whomever he would like to (keep) devour. good energy v bad energy

This mattress and linens ended up being my bed for the next 2 weeks. I had to purchase a king bed which she just happened to by king size sheets and comforter that just happened to be delivered a day before our bed(she does not own a king). it gets better. 2 days later I found out a tree had its stump growin into my sewage line. This was lovely cuz then the sewer line backed up through the house through the shower.
This meant that our 3/2ba home was now a 2/0ba home

@TheRoseville5 I also feel that there is a lot more than the three realms you meantion, hell, here and heaven. hell and heaven obviously being the extremes, but i think the universe is full of possibility and our lives and this conversation is simply just one of them. But good and evil must have a relationship like you say to keep the balance, if it went too much either way the universe would spiral out of control

@TheRoseville5 so in this respect you make a lot of sense, but because of my belief in the balance in all things i find it very easy not to condemn or judge people for being the way they are or for having traits i don't agree with, because i believe they have to be this way to keep the perfect balance that is the universe. What i always find is an interesting religious question is how many people did the Satan character of the bible kill in comparison with god?

I don't quite understand this question but I will try to give it a go. I find it easier to not judge people like at the store and stuff when I think of them as God's creation and that everything He created was good. I can smile more in lines at Christmas that way ;)

Right now as I have studied so far is that I believe that God protects His own and takes care of them and yet there are those who do not follow Him which makes Him angry. (the evil side)
I have the impression that when God is mad he shows it through nature. The Psunami's Fire, Wind Rain Earthquake that sorta thing so yeah to me He releases His anger through weather

as you can imagine I was stressed to the hilt and had no idea how to get through the next days. What I did realize and see was that God was taking care of us and knew these things would happen way in advance. I mean I have no idea when my Nana bought those sheets. I found a portopotty til the plumbing worked again.
Now these are not the best conditions but our needs were met even if they weren't the greatest.

On Tuesday I had to make 4 beds, make dinner, feed the kids, make 3 dozen cookies from scratch and make it to Girl Scouts in 1 hour. I said God I cannot not do this. You have to help me. So, we made it to Girl Scouts and everything got done. I will never be able to tell you how it got done as I do not know how it did. All I know is that I asked God to help me and we made it on time. Because it's a reflection of god's will, it is connected to god. Why is hell mentioned in the bible? Well.. That's simple. Hell is a state of mind, not a place. I don't think Satan really wants people to go to hell, it's just a result of hasty thinking under the impression you need to do what you need to survive. Even if it's selfish. @TheRoseville5 No, I don't believe there is an afterlife. But then again, I don't believe anyone dies. Our bodies only break, and we have to go out and find a new one. So reincarnation would be the better answer. But there is time to explore before each incarnation so you can find a place to incarnate on :)

@TheRoseville5 You eject yourself from your body when you die, and you get the chance to review the 'lifetime' experience you just had, and decide what points you would have liked to have done better at. This is the judgment phase :) After judgment, you're free the roam the universe until you can find the next place you'd like to experience. At leased, this is what I believe. I don't remember what life was like before I was born.

The first step would be to quit fearing death, everything will be fine. The next step would be to explore what ever possibility you could possibly experience. And the next step would be to have fun. Even if you sin, it's all a step towards the light. Infinity lasts forever.

I see. I personally was raised christian but I do not agree with their fine print or their behavior and how they treat people so I have seperated myself from them. I personally am one who has had a personal relationship w/ Jesus Christ since the young age of 4. To me, God raised me and I therefore obey Him and no-one else including the Bible. I speak to Him and listen and obey Him directly daily. If I did not know Christ personally then I would have been dead by 16.

I am someone who says phoeey on religion and indoctrinated beliefs and thumbs up to ONLY a Personal Relationship w/ Jesus Christ. I am under the impression that man made up religion to make himself feel better and to give himself control of something and of somewhere there is no control to be had.
