I really want Senegalese braids, but one thing I noticed in very single picture on Google for style ideas is that the hairlines are receded back a good 2 inches or more. That really scares me. I read getting your twists too heavy (with extensions use) can break off the hair around the front. My natural hair is a little past my shoulders and I want to buy extensions so the braids will be a nice length. Can anyone suggest the inch amount and how to stop breakage along the hairline? Thank you.

@loveshoes2011 I believe all types of braiding styles are the year round styles. You can get so many different types and lengths and up or down..so you just get a book with braiding styles or go to the salon and look at the examples on the posters and im sure you can find many different ones to suit you. the options are endless.
