During the 40's and 50's there was an influx of Jewish migrant to the area because of the Hitler regime. So much so that the population of Jews tripled in the years. The Jews then started to colonize and started to fight for their own land. There was of course support and opposition on both sides.

Whatever Christian denomination you are in besides the LDS. As long as you have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and have repented your sins to Him and testify that He is Lord.
You are Saved and in my view therefore a Christian. Id like it if all went to Christian Fellowship but that's the job of the Holy Spirit to guide each believer closer to God.
