The DC city officials who are jerking Heller around are criminals. Conspiring to deprive a citizen of a constitutional right under color of authority is a crime that warrants a ten year stretch in Fort Leavenworth.
Not that I expect any prosecutor to do their duty and put those clowns behind bars, but they really should quit pretending that they have any legal basis for what they're doing.
I'd hold the DC city council in contempt of court if I were them.
