I bought halo reach and thought: since this is before halo 1, i should play this and then halo 1, 2 , odst, and halo 3. I have all of them. So, today, i beat the entire halo 1 campaign and i shot one pistol bullet at a hunter and it just dropeed. I was like, woah, and then i got in a ghost and rammed and shot the other one and it took me forever!! lol. u should all play from halo reach thru halo 3 in order.( and maybe add halo wars in somewhere around reach.) its worth it.

the only reason that hunters come in twos is because they are grown together. they get a friend and are called "brothers." They go anywhere the other goes and does whatever the other does. when one is killed in combat, the other is outraged and is filled with adrenaline, rage and a need to avenge his fallen brother. the hunter's species name is Mgalekgolo. Read some Halo books...

Actully, your almost fully right, Hunter piars are of the same colony, when the first gets too big, it spilts into a second, its rumored Hunters with spikes have bond brothers and Vice Versa, of course you never see this in game..
