  • IMPOSSIBRUUUUU

  • Anjiiiing!

  • ahhh REPLAY ?

    YES PREASE !!!!!

  • How technical!!! That drummer is absolutely awenone. Can't believe this was recorded almost 30 years ago...

  • @BlackH3Lic0pt3r You should see him now...he's a one man band!

  • the best jazz/funk band on the fucking earth!

  • Magnificent!

  • Canek!!!

  • too bad the audio is out of sync...but still awesome

  • It should be illegal to have a rhythm section this tight.

  • 5 people don't want the 80's moustache look to come back

  • Wonderful musicians, they deserve to be more known, this are great, to much rubbish music around, this is really the sound that i call : Future Sound !!!

Listen from Casipea The Sky, wonderful, in reality ll pieces for me are wonderful!!!

  • Wonderful musicians, they deserve to be more known, this are great, to much rubbish music around, this is really the sound that i call : Future Sound !!!

  • Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost.

  • @Munchies56 You have the wrong band. Sports was released by The Square, not Casiopea. And it was 1986.

  • @connersaltzer

you like Huey Lewis and the News?

  • @Munchies56 Well that was a strange coincidence, and I see my error. My bad!

  • @Munchies56 By the way, why were you talking about Huey Lewis and The News?

  • @connersaltzer

because its hip to be square

  • These guys are musical masterminds

  • akira you rock

  • the most awesome chemistry i have seen in my life! CASIOPEA IS GO

  • Casiopea is best instrumental music...!

  • Honestly, this is one of the best songs i've ever heard

  • can't get enough listening to that fantastic song...my favorite on youtube along with domino line.

  • when does the video fall out of sync? somewhere in the middle right?

  • If the video and the audio was synchronised, this would literally be my favourite video on Youtube. Shame.

  • YEHA I loVE CASIOpEA

  • those lights are goovy man

*bowing down* I'M NOT WORTHY! I'M NOT WORTHY! I'M NOT WORTHY!

  • Why are Casiopea's albums all so rare? ¬_¬ I can only find a few on eBay, and that's it. Anybody got any tips on where I can find some?

  • They're actually the easiest albums to download.

  • That's my nigga Akira Jimbo on the drums. I love this guy.

  • Damn right!

  • How tight is that bass?!

  • Nintendo bands !? XD

    it is awesome !

  • I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo hired this band or its individual members at one point.

  • 0:36--TRY and tell me that Space Harrier Level 1 BGM wasn't influenced by this! LOL!

  • it prob was... the outrun music was based on them - fact.... the composer of the outrun music said this band were his inspiration when writing

  • Oh really?! Cool!

See, I love people who know their SST Band knowledge. . .

  • @Normal1S Fun Fact: When Casiopea had a One-year Hiatus in 1989, The Guitarist of Casiopea, Issei Noro, was hired as a Producer and Guest Performer with SST.

  • rainbow road in mariokart 64 reminds me of this.

  • So it's not just me then!

  • i thought i was crazy

  • haha, loving 4:14 onwards! Great musicians, must buy some albums.

  • Amazing!

Anybody know where to download Casiopeas music for free?

    I'm waiting answers....

  • 5:15 onwards is just amazing.... the arcade game out run had a soundtrack that was inspired by this group....

  • this is probably a stupid question, but do they memorize all of their songs?

  • Of course. Just as any musician.

However there's a lot of improvisation as well.

  • but they have over thirty albums, that's a lot of memorization.

  • Take me to Hot Sounds Island, where pure 80s jazz-funk fusion is played 24/7!

  • haha

  • @bushcraft80 is the hot sounds island under japanese rule? because if so

i need to get my japanese residence and move right in brah.......

  • ... Anyone find all their stuff to be a bit Sonic the Hedgehog?

    Haha, love it.

  • Definitely! First thing I though of when I heard Casiopea the first time!

  • i love the ascending bass line

  • 5:16 to the end is pure brilliance

  • This can also sound what it's like to be on certain medication!

  • Is that an Insult or a Joke or What?

  • Great Band!! Technique and Heart! I love the smile that they has while they are playing! they are happy to play! a great example for all us!

  • in the "Gentle Hearts" dvd, Tetsuo was 46yrs old at the time, but he looked to be in his early thirties, a sign that music that you enjoy playing doesn't age you.

  • let's compare with the actual music wave and we can find huge a difference CASIOPEA rocks serious players not for amateur ears

  • I wish Casiopea did a Live version of "Dream Hill". from their First Album.

  • Did you hear that Jaco line Tetsuo did at 2:32? it was a piece of Jaco's "used to be a cha-cha"

Tetsuo is influenced by the best!

  • There is a mirror behind his kit.....and that is Akira....he didn't have spikes in his hair all his life you know...

  • i cant have enough of them..jeje

  • reminds me of the music in sonic the hedgehog for gba...lol

i luv casiopea they are the best!!!!!!

  • Casiopea por siempre y para simpre

  • Fantastic! What a sensuous, inspiring composition!

  • Daaaamn, this Guys are very funky!! I like to hear them and I will show other Jazz and Funk musicians what they are able to!

Nice nice nice! I like them alot! :)

  • I agree

  • Thanks for uploading this great song.

But the image is like 1,2s delayed.

  • Any of you guys like Super Takanaka?

  • Of course. And CenturyEndSaviour must be Hokuto no Ken fan right? :-)

  • You, good Sir, are the ONLY person to date to notice that! Well done, that's a +1 for you!

  • Haha of course because I am Hokuto Shin-Ken Denshousha ;-) haha. Well atleast, Hokuto means so much to my life hah, crazy maybe, but true!

  • Hokuto & Casiopea - the greatness of Japan!

  • Hahah yes and so much more!

  • Those unisons are the shit! I'm trying to figure them out now but it's a bit complex. I think I Might need to slow it down with a program.

  • be careful with that, the timing for the video and audio are off a sec. or two.

  • Casiopea means inspiration!!!

  • holy shit nevermind there's a mirror behind them...my idiocy blows even my own mind!

  • Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how can you tell if a drummer plays right or left handed? Does the stronger hand hit certain pieces of the kit more often than the other?

  • Right handed - Right hand hi-hat, left hand snare

Left handed - left hand hi-hat, right hand snare

    :)
