@tamerfuchs I do not recommend Thera Tube Silver for handheld slingshots. They work OK for crossbows, but TB black will be better.

You may consider using Thera Band Gold, which is flat. You can cut it into tapered stripes. More performance at the same draw weight, compared to tubes.

I think you should try to make a wrist brace, then you could pulll back exttremely powerful rubber without hindering your aim etc.
