Italians have a way of touching inside your heart and soul and arise in you genuine feelings that range from anger to crying.

A great movie like "Cinema Paradiso" does that to me today, just like "Ladri di Biccicletta" ( Bycicle Thieves ) did when I first saw it in 1950.

If there is a more beautiful melody written in the 20th Century, I have yet to discover it. The film is my favourite of all time, and Morricone's score is simply divine. I can't listen to this without filling up, it is just so affecting. The blessed bond between Alfredo and Toto is forever etched in my memory. Both film and music remind me of the blessing of being alive. Peace to all.
