Warlocks, take note: That fire breath the dragon does (not the tracking) is a SPELL that the felhunter can SPELL LOCK. This makes the fight easymode as you will then have 6 uninterrupted seconds of drain life face rape. Before I used it I could not drop the boss below 20%. The one try I used it I spanked the boss and had full health and practically full mana.

dude, my pet keeps dieing simply because of the damage shared from soul link, how do i stop that

@mojambo213 I would almost suggest not using soul link for the fight. I didn't have to. The felhunter needs to be kept up so he can dispel, spell lock, and tank the adds, so actually soul link is a bad choice to have active.

It took a few tries, but i finally got this as destro today. I used the fell hunter instead of the imp, and made sure to counterspell on cd and purge the buff.

I put my pup on every add that came up and tossed a couple dots on it., shadowfury and glyphed shadowflame kept it away if i grabbed agro. I also used death coil for the cc and the hp regen.

I rolled nether ward and used bandages after counterspelling. The bandages seemed to make a pretty big difference for me.

Don't get hit by breath.

how are you able stay over 70% all times i get overpowerd by like 2 adds spawning at spawning 5 seconds after the other and at that point i cant get back up i try drain life again but i slowly drop to like 30% then dead

@TheShreder666 I don't know actually but when I did the drain life spec with the proper glyphs I killed it without much problems. I took Demonic Embrace and Demonic Aegis and used Soul Link, Healthstone and Felhunter glyphs. Also Mana Feed is useful because you use the felhunter to tank the adds and he gets you a lot of mana.

@MaxKamui yeah tnx i got it in 1 try i used demon armor not fell and fell synergy and glyph off fellhunter and soul link i took way less damage the fight lasted little longer but work out great :D

I've been trying this for 5 days now and keep on failing. I keep trying to figure out how you're able to maintain over 70% at all times! I keep on getting facerolled every way I try this and cant stay healed.

What does the buff he puts on himself do? (The one you have to dispel)

Regenerates 10000 health per second.

Restores 1000 mana per second.

Damage taken reduced by 50%.

A mage using spellsteal would have zero problems killing this dragon.

Man, did this last night, the whole instance took 3 hours to figure the easy way to do it and complete the quest.

i don't know how you got your pet to follow you with no issues like that. Mine bugged for 5 hours straight last night. Every pull. Had it on passive also. Even more so I couldn't have it tank the add because the adds were 1-2 shotting my pet even from max health. I came to the conclusion it was bugged and gave up for the night with a ticket open. - Did you have the same issue with the add 1-2 shotting your pet?

I am having the same issue. My pet get's creamed by the adds. This fight is insane. Either it got buffed since the 25m guilds got to do it or I'm just totally fail. I've tried it with special builds of every spec and I just cannot keep up with the damage I'm taking. This fight is so ridiculously overpowered for warlocks, and it's truly offensive how easy it is for mages. wtf bliz

@swiminjim Not going to lie, it was frustrating. I ended up getting it first try the night I first posted my comment here. Pet tanked adds, and barely took any damage, nor did the position bug or anything of the sort. Was surprisingly easy as anything. Chalk it up to RNG? Not sure. Definitely some glitchy mechanics in it, but if those are avoided, piece of cake. Best of luck.

@eklipz66 Im also having a TERRIBLE time with this, pet getting stuck alot, even my bartender bugged out and my pet had no bar, so my macro couldnt work. Been working on this for 5+ hours, totally not co operating.
