Mr. K was always a favourite. [my name starts with K.]
i had an unruly hatred for Mr. C for being selfish with his sounds for a very long time. [okay, i still hold anger towards Mr. C. He's such a baby. Can't share his sound and then has to make Mr. S share his sound.] aw, i love the letter people so very much.
I only saw this one time I think in 1975, but am I remembering correctly that C had all his belongings on a stick and was running away from home because of the K sound? If so, that is selfish!
Yeah, I also think Mr. K is a bit lame. I suppose being a kids show and all, having the K stand for "kill" would be detrimental to the positive feeling of the show.
"Kick" is much more acceptable.
They could have been tricky and made the K stand for "knit." (Mr. N would have surely been angry.)
I could never figure out the second line of that song; it had been bugging me my whole life, ever since I was five years old! I always heard "Come and *the part I couldn't figure out* it's a family" or something. (It was so embarrassing when my whole class sang along with the theme song and I had to just kind of fudge that part.) I didn't even know what that line actually was until a few weeks ago when my sister's college roommate told me. Isn't life crazy?
I like Mr. K's feet. I also remember when Mr. K's in a squoosh box, he has to stand at the end part so he'll kick the clue box and not the Letter Person he's sharing the box with.
I remember this episode. Mr. K was being an asshole because he was stealing the sound from Mr. C

@Metticus Actually, in many people's eyes it was Mr. C who was being rude since he did not want to share his sound with Mr. K.
