  • I don't know if it's the music or the cleverness of trainer and dogs' but I find so video so very touchy!

  • Omg awesome.... :)

  • Great Video! I have a Sheltie Pup who is 6 months old and is starting to show me different behaviors...lastnight I was able to put a verbal on "Put your head down" it took him a while to figure out we were actually playing a game...because we've been in obedience class for two months. but it only took him about 5 minutes to figure it out once he knew it was a game! This video gave me a lot of great ideas as far as shaping new tricks go! Thanks a bunch for posting it! You do such a great job!

  • Wow! So good it made me cry. I wish I had more time and patience, but your videos give me such encouragement and motivation Emily. Many thanks.

  • I wish i was a dog...-_-

  • You have to be connected with your animal to have them do tricks like these!

  • It would appear there are ten very jealous dogs watching...

  • Amazing.. Great work ..

  • Emily- simply fantastic!!!!

    Peace and Light!

    Jack 8 {-

  • Its nice

  • Look for Alvin on youtube Keywords: Alvin tool dog

  • I have taught my Golden some neat behaviors as well. I liked your video very much. It is amazing what behaviors a dog can learn. I also enjoyed watching you work with your dogs, you can tell that you love them very much. It is hard to believe people are cruel to animals. Here are a few things Alvin has learned.

  • i have seen two video from u but this is the most amazing video that i see so far. I was crying when i am seeing this. it really is such a beautiful thing to have that strong bond between human and dog. ANd you only use positive reinforcement.

  • WHAT IS THIS FREAKIN DELISCIOUS TREAT THAT YOU USED TO MAKE THOSE DOGS DO THAT!?!?!

  • This is really neat. Thanks for putting this online.

  • awesome...

Can other breed like boxer. dobe also perform such tricks if trained by some one like u

  • you should make a dog circus dvd with your COOL DOGS and call it This Is A Dog Circus And It Can Beat Yours.

  • Hey there! I am teaching my dog Volt to walk on her front legs and was wondering how you taught it. I have a video on my page of how I am teaching it and did you teach it the same way or did you use a wall or books first? You are an amazing trainer! and I love your dogs! epecially the merle ;) Im a sucker for blue merles :)

  • Oh my gosh :O how did you teach your dogs those tricks?!

  • That chick is hot

  • It's such a grat video!!! I love it!

  • ENAMORADA <3

  • Even if I feel that video like circus, it's better than abandon !

How the human beings can abandon these friends at the edge of roads or in refuges?

Militate for the protection of animals. They have rights.

  • @rasmulti The difference between this and a circus is that I never tell my dogs "no" or "you have to!' they can choose not to play the games if they want to. But they always choose to because I made it fun like a game, not like a poor circus animal that is doing it to avoid being yelled at or beaten

  • @rasmulti do animals really have rights, if so how?

  • Respekt!

Bei dir wäre ich gerne Hund ;-)

    Grüße aus Deutschland

  • i wish i had the little one then i would have my own personal back scratcher.......whos with me

  • Yay! I guessed right then! Thanks Emily! I noticed the hand cue also ... Is your skipping part of the cue as well or is it just because it matches splash? ( its cute either way, I'm just trying to figure out the exact cue since in the limp video I can't find it) and I'm not the best at coming up with my own hand signals....

  • @Morkieness It used to be a more exaggerated hand gestures- I would hold my hand to the left and right shoulder- or if she was coming towards me I would hold out my left and right hand. Sadly my cue was really stupid it went "Wave" (left paw) "come forwards" Bye" (R paw) "come forwards" and so I would do the hand cues and say "wave comeforwards bye comeforwards" but changed it to "Skip!" after she got it. You have to know that to get it down YOU have to go at the correct speed or it doesnt work

  • @Morkieness If you get the dog to go too fast or too slow- they can't do the proper stepping with their back feet to maintain whats going on in the front, its good to film yourself to see what the back feet are doing- you want the back feet to look like they are taking steps one at a time in time- not flailing about looking lost. :)

  • As everyone has said this video is AMAZING ! I'm also pleased to say that after watching it over a dozen times I think I've FINALLY figured out the prancing @ 1:30 - I cant wait to try training it .... Emily , you are awesome!

  • @Morkieness Basically I taught Splash to limp with both front legs, then I cued her to limp on one side then the other, so she would do two steps on each foot before changing it.... I used my hand as a visual cue on each side of her body to help her see the foot change at first. actually I am using the hand cue still in the video

  • oh so very wonderful . i appreciate you very much ) love to you and your pups

  • Hi,

you heard this very often I guess: your video is great, amazing. You fantastic four took my breath away!!!

    Sarah

  • Fantasic. I have never seen so tricky dogs before - I now how long it takes to teach tricks to dog and this ist amazing and Great.

  • aegisgear your dogs amazing

  • role playing time

  • Amazing! This basically sums up your awesomeness. Anyone who is doubting it should take 5 minutes out of their life and watch this and they will be convinced! Can you put up a couple tutorials about these tricks? I was hoping you could teach the side-step, which would be great for a dramatic play dead. ("Bang!" Dog staggers to the right, to the left, and then drops dead.)

  • Wow!! Awesome, you are my hero!! You must have the patience of a saint. I am seriously impressed, as I'm sure most people are who watch this!

  • Awesome!

  • As usual, a wonderful video! I love training positively, and I'm working on being a Progressive Reinforcement Trainer (I have a hard time getting rid of the "ah ah", but I'm working on it!). I love training different behaviours, but sadly I lack your creativity. I plan on getting your videos to become a better trainer, and to learn some new things to train. Again, thank you!

    FYI !!!!

  • amazing and wonderful work!!

  • Omg train my dog for the wedding pls lol

  • This is so amazing.

  • Dog freestyle is always great to see, great job!

  • You have such a gift!

  • I love seeing the tricks in which the dogs are interacting directly with each other. Great training!

  • Excellent dog tricks, but FFS, what's with the funeral music in the video?

  • @Nervulis Believe it or not, Pachelbel's Canon is often played at weddings. It's still a song that evokes sad feelings, though. At least to me it does. I associate this song the most with the movie Ordinary People. And that is a very dramatic and sad movie. So take from that what you will... it's a matter of emotional association I guess.

  • What great team work, you work so well with your dogs

Quite honestly I do not know HOW you do it and I commend you for all of the time and effort you put into training not just 1 but all 3 of your dogs these very cool and entertaining tricks. =)

  • Awesome mix! I love watching your videos. May I ask - how much time per day do you spend training your dogs? How much for each one? I was working full time until recently, I have changed to part time and now trying to spend as much of my extra time as possible training my two and just spending time with them.

  • You are so fantastic !! And you have very smart dogs !!
