It helps to have a male and a female, but not always . They should pick their own friend. Work with a rescue near you to find teh right bunny friend. Don't buy one . Please adopt.

It's not too late to bond at all, but you must have him neutered and wait about 3-4 weeks after that. They can be bonded anytime in their life!

actually, fruit is not so great for a bunny. Small amounts---like ONE raisin a day or ONE piece of banana about the size of a quarter are ok, but other than that it gets too sugary and can mess with their digestive system.

Long-stemmed green veggies, like pasrley, cilantro, etc are good, but should replace orchard grass or Timothy hay that shoul be available at all times.

my 9 yo rabbit doesnt eat fruits or vegs. my 13 yo rabbit never did either. only hay or pellets. raisins. both were netherland dwarf, which i assume its diet is very different from ordinary. they are very domestriced i always thought raw is harsh on their system.

When I was 9, I got identical bunny. One day the door into his cage broke down and my grandma's dog took the bunny out and he killed him before my eyes. It's my most traumatic childhood experience :(
