  • @talaltq Perhaps. You didn't upload it, so you guess. The song is American, less close to English than Dutch to Vlamish or Austrian to German though the original lines are practically English. ( If that is even an existing language) The original doesn't sound English, it's a country song and England is the one country that never had much affinity with country, I think. Listen to Whitley. And people don't have to be stupid if they misunderstand something. this am No need to be rude.

  • @gammyleg123 Besides, the original version is American country, 1988, Keith Whitley. So perhaps this one of the better American love songs. This is the version used in notting hill. I think they should have gone with the original. (Writers were americans, too). So, nothing English here. But his best performance.
