Our friend actaully got one from our local animal shelter for an adoption fee of $60. You never know where you might stumble across something like that ^^

oh that's awesome! I've been telling my mom how much i want one and she got me one for my birthday/christmas. she paid 300. he's a wonderful kitty has the best personality. he's cfa registered or something like that. and came with a health guarantee. im a little worried though cuz he has an eye infection but i read its normal with persians?

Well, I'm not a Persian expert, but our friend's cat (his name's Apollo <3) has had his share of eye infections too. o_O

Have had several batches of Persians, they have their share of eye infections as kittens. I treat them twice daily with mild boric acid solution and q-tip. When it clears up, the infection generally does not return. If you can't find boric acid, contact lens saline solution works well also. None of my adult cats get infections but they do get gooey eyes because their sinus cavities never develope correctly. Congenital part of being a persian. Use saline to clean at least once a week.
