  • Oh I love these things. On Hulu they keep the bumpers on The Dick Van Dyke show. I remember during the closing credits of "The Beverly Hillbilles" they had Kellogg's products super imposed in.

  • Ah, Post. Now owned by the tobacco pushers. No self-respecting person would buy any.

  • Not any more! Kraft spun off Post Cereals to Ralcorp Holdings--based in St. Louis--in 2008!

  • I miss Crispy Critters and Rice Krinkles!

  • @harporocks

post rice krinkles could never be marketed today as back then. asian civil rights groups would have a cow

  • How truly sad that the ORIGINAL closing credits are not shown on TV or DVD, with Andy and Opie walking home from the fishin' hole. Maybe as a 50th anniversary special? Also, the music heard on the DVDs and TV is NOT the truly original versions heard on the network (and early syndication) prints. Each season (and sometimes show to show) the closing theme varied on the arrangement, and was replaced by the "Viacom" version heard today many years ago. Yes, this is true. The DVDs are wrong!!

  • Those of you who think that many of today's executives have the mentality of a parking meter......RAISE YOUR HAND.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR.

  • Post-General Foods, post-Philip Morris and post-Altria, Post cereals still stand for quality, values and nutrition.

  • This was the closing sponsor I.D. seen during the 1963-'64 season, just before the ORIGINAL closing credits with Andy and Opie heading home from Myers Lake, with the Post logo in the lower corner of the screen...

  • I remember these Post commercials on his show. Post ran a few that actually showed him eating and talking about the cereal. Wish I could see them again. Thanks for this one!
