Isn't Buck? Try talking to them and sending them your stuff. I know its a hastle but it's a way to get noticed. You've been here a long time an so I'm sure they'll take you at least somewhat seriously. Just don't brag about that in the vids you send them. might come off to some people as arrogant. MIGHT being the key word here.

Any vids you can do in your spare time are awesome. I've found recently that the most subscribed for the most part have lots of videos. Another example of someone who's kind of famous but has kind of disappeared as of recently is Chris Crocker "Leave Britney alone".

And he had videos way before that. He just got lucky and found his 15 minutes. just wait man. It'll come.

Try RayWilliamJohnson's comment thing. Send in multiple video responses. all you have to do with him is propose a question. and you can always repost the same question until it's picked.

I already know about that and more, my friend, even extensive unprincipled operations if I wish. Without serious backing from those with more exposure than you, all you can do is give up or cheat. I almost chose the latter in mid 09, but then I remembered that none of this was in my original plan. I was on track all along and have learned a valuable lesson in never creating in a medium or arena that has mass access to any Joe citizen. You will get drowned in their bs.

I think it's less what they like and more exposure. There are people on here that suck dog shit through a coffee straw with tons of subs, all because they are buddies with a big youtuber. Bottomline, no matter how good the vid is, no matter how wide the appeal it might have, it has to be given exposure or it won't matter. I'm no noob here, in my experience this is the contant truth of youtube.

I guess the old sayings true. in this place its a dog eat dog world and the only way to get anywhere is to jack someone off enough that they decide they'll be nice and throw you a varitable crumb off the youtube table thats loaded with a feast of rates subscribes views and comments that if each one was a dish could feed several third world countries.

What I think they need to do is take all of the cosigned partner channels and take them out of the most subscribed section. Set them as a group that is shown in a list of basicly VIP users channels only. That way the people who try hard like you and countless others could get the views it deserves.The site needs some serious remodeling. Anyways nice chatting with you Grim. You're right, all the major plays by big tubers were made early, before google. The bigger the site gets the harder it is to get noticed, but the big tubers with exposure get more subs. It's almost like the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
