First off, you can set up everything from the Zune after you plug it in one time to the PC. It is VERY obvious from your tone and things you pointed out you didn't like the Zune before you even opened the box. I have no interest in watching reviews by someone how has proven to me they can't be unbiased. Not to mention the fact that you never made another video to clarify these things or give it a fair review.

it does kinda suck being stuck in an iTunes world, because you have to convert every file to mpeg and aac or w/e and its all a pain, and correct me if im wrong, but with zunes you can use a variety of file formats

You really need to read the manual or something. Or even just get a clue. All those things that you "could only do on the pc" can be done on the player. You just need to sync the player to a pc first.

Also, that "glue" on the player was probably just grime from your greasy ass fingers. You left prints all over that thing.

And Microsoft is actually extremely smart in not making a mac client. Why waste resources/money on something that won't benefit them other than pulling maaybe 1% of the market?

zunes been around since 07. it probably wont be offered for macs ever because it wont really be benefitial. theyre competitors, and apple only affered it for pc because they realised that only 3% of the worlds users were mac users. and if they didnt ipod would've been a flop.

I'm amazed this vid' had a score of 4 stars. I would've given it four stars had there been no audio.

While I too would've liked for there to have been a Zune client for Macs, I doubt it'll have a significant effect on Microsoft's ability to make a dent in Apple's stranglehold on the MP3 player market for at least 2 reasons: 1) I figure that Mac owners strongly prefer Apple products 2) I believe a large majority of people still use PCs (that's why Apple has a PC iTunes client)

No. Mac OS support isn't crucial to the success of ANY product because Mac users can use Windows if they want and because Mac OS doesn't represent a significant % of the market. The Zune 120 and the iPod classic are pretty much the same.

But in the touchscreen department the iTouch has a huge advantage imo.

you have to understand, how many macs out there versus pcs so ipod needed a windows client to be succesful but zune does not since its already supported on dominant platform...mac client would help but isnt neccesary but hey microsoft might answer ur prayers in near future who knows

Macs have support for Windows via a number of ways. Furthermore, you have advantages with the Zune HD over the iPod Touch hence a higher price. There are more reasons most likely for the Zune HD being priced higher and of course you also have disadvantages with the Zune HD compared to the iPod Touch.

The Zune HD's OLED screen isn't high definition in the sense of HDTV, of course. The screen itself is only 480x272, which is significantly less than the iPhone/iPod touch at 480x320. (That's 130k vs 153k pixels; the iPod/iPhone displays 18% more pixels). hat Microsoft is promoting is the Zune HD's capacity to output 720p HD video, at least when using its HDMI dock.
