Hey Owned, Dropping the rod in the backcast maintains the straight rod tip path and allows him to carry oodles of line . Try it . It's actually great distance casting style.
@plutoplatters How many videos do you need to see where they drop the rod like this before you realize they know what they are doing and you.....not so much.
