For example, "they found him in the wreck with his hand on the throttle/and the train had run off in the stream" vs "he was found in the wreck with his hand on the throttle/scalded to death by the steam" likley to avoid offending or being censured because it was a kids show. As for the particular change you metioned, it may have been altered to fit that particular character's voice or for an effect with said voice.

Hearing this, I realize what ou meant by "By the Jukebox Band"- That's the the Jukebox band in the Shining Time Station arcade! I miss that sound!!
