well, there are 8 days of Hannukah, so normally Jews light the number of candles to represent what day of the 8 it is.. (1 candle on the first day, 2 on the second, etc.)

the joke is that this menorah is representing the days in binary, so you only need 4 lights...

This invention is truly epic!!! I'm an electronics engineering student only (not from any religion) but the modernization concept is really nice.

but for representing the sense of the 8 days maybe can be better the whole set of leds (one for each candle) and a little charge meter for the battery.
