This fight scene is fucking terrible, it's too damn rushed and short, the choreography is clumsy and very unoriginal for 2009 standards. I've seen a bunch of films with better fight choreography; Mortal Kombat, Enter the Dragon, Undisputed II and III, Broken Path, Police Story, Fist of Legend, and Flashpoint, half of these are either older films, Hong Kong films, or DTV films, and they kick the shit out of this garbage.

@TomboydajuProduction There are several instances of Chi-Chi fighting as a girl, and also as a teenager in the 23rd Budokai Tenkaichi (where she fights Goku in the quarter-finals, I might add) in the Dragon Ball anime. She also fights (briefly) to protect Gohan from being taken by Garlic Jr.'s minions in the first Dragon Ball Z movie, Dead Zone. Basically the women DO fight in the anime, and it's MUCH better than this lol.

those who complain about this movie, it did one thing that Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z didn't do: Make women fight, we only got one female fighter in each anime but they were put on a bus like every non-alien.

I thought this movie sucked real badly. This is what I had a problem with: 1) They changed the storyline, it's nothing like the show. 2) They made Goku a high school student who was an outcast and was crushing on the popular girl. ( A typical setup for several other movies. ) 3) ChiChi's character was nothing like the ChiChi in the show. To sum it all up, everything was just silly. i know they had a low budget and all but seriously! I definitely expected a lot more.

@TomboydajuProduction There are several instances of Chi-Chi fighting as a girl, and also as a teenager in the 23rd Budokai Tenkaichi (where she fights Goku in the quarter-finals, I might add) in the Dragon Ball anime. She also fights (briefly) to protect Gohan from being taken by Garlic Jr.'s minions in the first Dragon Ball Z movie, Dead Zone. Basically the women DO fight in the anime, and it's MUCH better than this lol.

I thought this movie sucked real badly. This is what I had a problem with: 1) They changed the storyline, it's nothing like the show. 2) They made Goku a high school student who was an outcast and was crushing on the popular girl. ( A typical setup for several other movies. ) 3) ChiChi's character was nothing like the ChiChi in the show. To sum it all up, everything was just silly. i know they had a low budget and all but seriously! I definitely expected a lot more.

yea the movie sucked big time. but i like the fact that they made goku seem more interested in chichi rather than the other way around. its usually chichi who seems to provide all the loving. but u gotta admit it sucked not only cuz the actor who played goku didnt portray him right they also had a budget of only 1 million for this movie. so yea i think that says it all.

They changed the story up so much that, He only has enough training as kid Goku, He's actually going to school, worst of all look at his kamehameha. The first kamehameha was perfect for a real life look but, the one against Piccolo was terrible.

This is a cheap ass film. The fucked up dragon ball so bad its not even funny. They didn't get a thing right. And they had the heart to end the movie with a cliffhanger. I will never see a sequel. oh yeah...knowing the REAL Goku.... at the moment he noticed she wasn't chi chi he would had gotten so mad, instead of saying "oh shit" , this is how I see it:
Goku probably going to his knees while May shoots at him , the blast bounce on his body , while a red aura around Goku makes rocks fly upwards. May tries to run away, but as soon as she turns around Goku would be right behind her , and he would be really really pissed.... man... this movie had so much potential =(

yes i know the difference between DB and DBZ, in regular dragonball, goku was a happy energetic kid who had a monkey tail, but when the solar eclipse hit him, therefore, he turns into an ape, amd if the tail get's broken, he's back to his normal size and in DBZ, his son gohan had the same thing, he didn't have one anymore, and u could be right about him not having a red aura at the time it was only dragonball
