I didnt like the Giant size. Ya the art was great but they could have stopped the bullet or even got Kitty out. She had the lamest death. ever. yah soo long kitty your gona starve to death or burn in a sun. awesome.

you know how it hurts her or fatigues her to phase threw wolverines Adumantium

that metal from the bullet was made out of  a metal that fatigued her and if she phased threw it she possibly could have died while phasing through that material.

i am a big xmen fan its just who the writers are and stuff that make a story. There are some great stories and others are not so great.

i thought those drawings were good but i thought the person that illistrated phoenix end song saga was amazing i loved the fading and that kind of glowing effect and i liked the way they made emma's telepathy in bubbles.

hmmm, interesting review. i dont believe this is the number one x-men comic. in saying that, a dude who doesnt even like the x-men is saying it was the best x-men comic. nonetheless, this is a great comic book, but far from the best from the x-men. chris clairmont is the true x-men writter. all of his storylines (generally) are fantastic. hell, if your not into comics, read clairmont's novel version of x-men 2. its great, and gives a little more insight.

I didnt really like the xmen until recently as well. I hate how they draw women with big ol boobies and really cheesy storylines. Astonishing X-Men was above all of that in a class of its own.

yeah n on top of that the costumes r 50x better in there n they go back 2 looking mor elike a team because of the colors

not all of them have big boobs kitty doesnt but only characters like emma and storm had big boobs but they had to make them smaller because they got complaints from childrens parents.

Now now phoenixforce25orwhatever... we are all entitled to our opinion about what titles we like or dislike.

Dark phoenix saga came out in the mid 70's and was "ok" as part of the end of silver age (or a prelude to modern age); however, GideonFrost is trying to say he dislikes the style of writing and execution of the plot which is more so the entire plot in general. So relax.

Oh and just so you know that it's been a while Clairmont is burnt out. His latest run on Exiles sucked. HARD.
