I know it why it looks like you're lip syncing. :D

It is because the audio bit rate and the video bit rate are different due to crappy compression. Also I believe it could also do with the external source of music and your vocals.

If you recorded your vocals to the computer while filming, then adding the song quietly under, using audacity and sony vegas and stuff you could get much higher quality video.

Of course I have no real technical background and I am just talking out my ass.
