  • put some expression into your voices 'mmmmmmkay'. Bad instruction video.

  • wow... i could have masturbated in this 1.56... what a waste of time..

  • stack and melt............cheese.

  • This is GREAT stuff, now hitting the ball 350,,,,,,,,,,,, NOT

  • Just wasted 1:56 of my life.

  • wtf

  • this kind of instruction is why people suck at golf.

  • WTF is he talking about

  • Man this instructor is gifted with the radiance and x factor of an accountant. So incredibly lifeless,...one thing knowing how to do it, clearly a whole different ball game teaching it.

  • Can I post this on Facebook? This is a great little piece.

  • turn your chest and back to the target, shoulders will follow, keep it simple.......

  • 0:06 back it up a bit andy. yeah...that's it. perfect.

  • Look, they get way too much into mechanics. Use some damned fundamentals and you get great results. Most instructors when teaching the full swing are just full of B.S.!!

  • The guy standing behind says, "The maximum translation of the axis of the shoulders." In layman's terms he's saying, "On occasion I break 80."

  • @riverace7 You sure? Considering Andy (and Mike) were professional golfers and played the mini tours before going into teaching, I'd say your statement is incorrect.

  • @dsizemore81Anyone can play the mini tour, which included me!

  • @riverace7 Let's see your swing then.

  • @dsizemore81 Come on now, no need for that kind of behavior. I'd rather play you in a match for money.

  • @riverace7 What kind of behavior? I simply wanted to see your swing since you know more than two of the most respected instructors in golf. Nothing confrontational; if you're that good, I can learn something. I'm down for a game...

  • @dsizemore81 Exactly when did I say I was better and is the title of most respected instructors in golf self acclaimed? This is the exact type of behavior I’m talking about. You’ve made my assessment of your person very clear by your obviously rude response. I’m a competitor and a very good one at that. Let me know the next time you decide to visit Las Vegas and whether or not you’d like to set up a game. Then you can put all that bolstering where your mouth is and don't forget the money.

  • @riverace7 Your comment from the start insinuated that you know more than they do. Remember "On occasion I break 80?" As for being two of the most respected instructors, they teach more PGA Tour players than any other teacher in golf. I'd say that's respected. But anyway, I'm finished with our "conversation." You're grossly misinterpreting everything I say, so it's not worth the effort. I have yet to "bolster" about anything. Still would love to see your swing though.

  • Hey dsizemore, put your skirt down and give your obvious gayness a rest!!!

  • @riverace7 Will do, buddy. Stay classy.

  • i dont understand the implication that the conventional swing requires you to make some exaggerated move off the ball?

if all conventional swings looked like the one in this example no one would swing that way, not now, not ever.

  • love the marketing for S@T. make it sound like everyone's joining the revolution. is anyone winning anywhere with this swing?

  • what a crappy video

  • The only thing I see in this video is more pressure placed in the Lumbar portion of the spine. To rotate on an axis efficiently, the axis has to be centered. The spine is slightly recessed. Therefore the real "axis" is somewhere in the middle of the torso. Turning efficiently and with less stress to the Lumbar area, you must displaced the spine slightly.

  • This is a crucial part of S&T that took me hitting a bunch of fat and thin shots to get (i.e., the standing up part). Essentially, the S&T backswing is an optical illusion. I was turning my left shoulder down (leaning left) but I wasn't standing up. Once I did that my head didn't drop 3 inches anymore!

  • @sonicdeviant . Interesting comments. Incidentally, all top players lower (drop) in either their backswing or downswing or ideally in the backswing and downswing. This is an essential part of correctly compressing the golf ball. Check it out, 95% of tour pros lower. Good luck with the swing changes.

  • Interesting distinction between spine angle and inclination to the ground. Conventional teaching seems to oversimplify this by just saying 'maintain your spine angle'

  • asleeptube, ur comment makes no sense

  • @jtdorkser it does make sense, you must not have listen to the video

  • Spine angle does not stay the same throughout the swing.

The inclination of the spine to the ground does.

    There is a difference.

  • Awesome. Cheers

  • thanks for sharing this!
