I don't see how you guys can even think about sailing without a life jacket on. I may sound like a safety tomato, but when you actually need it and do not have it.. well you know.

I know a man that was sailing his 21ft boat solo with the autopilot. He managed to fall overboard in the middle of the bay. If it were not for his bow line trailing 15ft behind his boat he would have been DONE. It would have kept sailing along.

And ofcourse he didn't have a life jacket...
