  • Romney said "No more free riders"...WTF. In this country health insurance is so freakin expensive and with the economy this bad...what does he expect people to do? He is out of touch with reality. I have lived in Europe and experienced other health care systems and let me tell you, there is no reason why an individual living here in the U.S. should havee to pay an arm and a leg for individual insurance. INSURANCE doesn't have to be so expensive, its the greedy rich that make it this way.

  • Gingrich is out of touch. You dont just get insurance because you get a job. Usually, if your job even offers insurance it costs 25% or more of your wages. And it doesnt pay for shit anyway, usually $2000 out of picket before they even start paying 80%.

  • It's funny how at the end Ron Paul proudly declares that he disagrees with both Romney and Santorum on health care, when in fact, he simply reiterated what Santorum was expressing to Romney.

  • I don't like Romney, But Santorum is a complete moron here! Dumb and Dumber > Romney and Santorum!

  • why is it that you can put a persons name in front of a healthcare bill and use it as a accusation?

  • @jerhaire You can do this if the "healthcare bill" is ridiculous, dangerously intrusive, and debt/deficit increasing. Obamacare is all of these things. This is done to put the blame exactly where it belongs.

  • Hey dumb fucks, she has no income and can't buy insurance! tell her how to cope with her situation now. Tell her to look into free clinics and patient assistant programs through the drug companies. Nothing but double talk and blame to Obama. None of these assholes have ever been without and have no clue on how to deal with adversity. Again she has no income, she can't buy insurance. Each case should be looked at so the people that need help get it!

  • @MrRael6

Ron Paul is correct; the free clinics, etc., may be the answer now but our tax dollars pay for it. I'm 69 and have worked nearly all my life and when I was between jobs and was the only one in the house carrying insurance for my husband, myself & 3 kids I had a savings account just for that purpose and we are just normal middle class people. When my mom was growing up there was no free rides; neighbors helped each other. Ron Paul has it all right; we cannot take care of everyone!

  • Watching Santorum and his affected expressions of confusion and disdain makes my anal sphincter leak.

  • 13:20-13:40. Well said, Gingrich. You supported Dr. Paul on a very pertinent issue and got America to think on re-thinking the healthcare system.

And well done Dr. Paul for saying that government (whether state or federal) is the problem!

  • 10:41 just like anything, because you don't appreciate the people of America but you superficially pretend to....

  • the moderator keeps going to ron paul first on the more awkward questions, that would be worse for the other candidates...ive been watching the whole thing and listening to Eligh and amp live....

  • Romney's face at 8:24 LOL.. the face of a man getting spawn camped on Counter Strike

  • Insurance is gambling. No wonder the MAFIA wants in on it. They will not pay off but will collect the payments gladly.

The woman without insurance should either quit gambling or quit something else so she can gamble.

As an issue, gambling is moronic to focus on. It is trivial.

Both parties argue over the trivial in order to distract you from the MAFIA stealing everything.

  • 8:46 Romney says 92 percent of people in Massachusetts has health insurance......but at 10:52 he says that 98 percent have insurance......hmmmm

  • @RYNO4880 I don't support Romney but I am always fair. He said it was 92% before he passed Romneycare and after it went up to 98%.

  • Gingrich 2012

  • Newt Gingrich should just drop out of the race and endorse Ron Paul! I've lost count of how many times he has admitted that Ron Paul is right on several different issues! Liberty! Peace! Prosperity! RON PAUL 2012!!

  • Fucktard old mannnnnnn Ron Paul.

  • I think it's really smart for Gingrich to agree with Ron Paul so much. The person who wins the nomination, unless they're Ron Paul, will need the support of the Ron Paul faction. Very smart, indeed.

  • @Vyna80 I agree.

  • ron paul is right for president!

  • liars all of them except Dr, Paul :)

  • GET GOVERNMENT OUT OF HEALTHCARE PERIOD

  • IN THE MIDST OF ALL THESE COMMENTS REGARDING THE ISSUES IN THE DEBATE I JUST WANNA SAY THAT AT 13:05 Ron Paul's hand looked like it was Mitt's lol. Anyways, Go Ron Paul!

  • Does Santorum have an attitude or is it just me?

  • @dblythe96 attitude?? he IS MR. Attitude :) he scares me

  • these people are fucking stupid. under the new healthcare bill, that lady would eventually be able to afford insurance without a job. gingrich says we need to repeal the bill. lady starts clapping...fail.

  • F WHAT THEY SAY IT'S WHAT THEY DO RICK SANTUROM IS BRING UP GOOD POINTS. NOTICE THAT RON PAUL DOES NOT HAVE THAT PROBLEM..........RON PAUL IS THE MAN

  • Romney Care is the prototype for Obama Care, if Mitt is elected we'll never get rid of Obama Care.

  • Santorum seems to not understand that the Government is of the people. The PEOPLE of Massachusetts wanted the healthcare plan, and thats what Romney gave them. He LISTENS to the people

  • It's nothing to get angry about??? Give me a fucking break!!! The guy is skeezy!!!

  • They all restated in different ways exactly what Dr. Paul said in response to the lady's question except Santorum. (He wasn't smart enough.) The only way any of them can answer a question directly is for Ron to speak first.

  • "I think they are all wrong" hahaha

    RON PAUL REVOLUTION 2012!!!

  • 92% of my people had insurance ... (8:49) 98% of the people have insurance.. (10:53)

    Comeoooon..

  • I thought Newt was bitter but Santorum...damn!

  • Dr. Ron Paul. Enough said.

  • Fuck the hispanic bitch. I hate these cultural marxist attempts to divide America. Why should a hispanic leader be included in anyones administration just because he is hispanic?

  • This is the first debate that Dr Paul got respect and time so congratulations to CNN for that.

  • Santorum just looks desperate now

  • Ron Paul's response to the health insurance question posed in the beginning of this video demonstrates a lack of understanding with regards to the difference between prices and costs. Congressman Paul talked about how costs were being inflated by government subsidies however the costs have not been inflated at all. The prices have.

  • @ThoseWhoStayUofM -- Prices have gone up, so have the costs. Both have been caused by government subsidies, interference, mandates, and inflation.

  • @namegeneratorsucks WRONG! Costs have gone down while prices have gone up. inflation is completely irrelevant to costs... ALWAYS. subsidies... irrelevant to costs. Interference... i don't know what that even means in this regard. mandates... actually that could effect costs so I'll give you that but mandates haven't offset the vast technological improvements which drastically lowered cost of health care in this country.

  • Answer the question. You can't help this woman and you won't.

  • @hollywoodjinky Absolutely right, Paul didn't even try. it's the same old crap from him.

  • @hollywoodjinky He did answer the question; allow for an economy that makes health less expensive. A free market won’t solve problems for you but it makes it much easier for you to solve your own problems. A free market is more flexible and bases on voluntary trade. “A high tide lifts all boats.”

  • @AnthonyMazzarella That won't help her and the millions of others who are sick today and not covered. Here in France, health care is less expensive even when you take into account the taxes French people pay. A high tide drowns people too. Tsunami is an example and this economic disaster is a tsunami. She not only didn't get her question answered, she's not getting any help period from these creeps.

  • @hollywoodjinky Those Tsunamis are usually, as this one in America, caused by government inflated economy. The problem in America is that we have corporatized risks yet capitalist profits. While socialized or corporatist health care is better than what we have currently free trade is the best. This is because there are less unintended consequences as blowback. The “seen” and the “un-seen” is how Frédéric Bastiat describes it. Perhaps you should read his work. He is French.

  • Mitt's idea with regarding giving individuals the same tax break that corporations receive is the best and most realistic idea from all the candidates regarding health insurance.

  • It was surprising to see santorum so aggressive ... I bet he was thinking "dam, I better set myself apart from newt and mitt NOW! Lol

  • @thecooltactition81 That's what i was thinking. In my opinion Newt is climbing quickly in the polls because of his very different approach than most republicans, someone finally standing up and shouting that they're sick of it. Santorum seems to be a boy scout most of the time, he's got good ideas but he's so quiet noone can hear them. It's about time.

  • @msenger100 exactly ... santorum's already on the very cusp of irrelevance as it is, and he needed to do exactly what he did ... he's not really my first pick but i respect the performance and debate strategy

  • Haha santorum with the health care bitch slap right across mitts face! Hahha loved it ... Btw RON PAUL 2012

  • Another example of the other candidates trying to pander to Ron's support in hopes that he'll lose...

  • Santorum isn't doin' bad

  • geesh how many times is Gingrich going to agree with Ron Paul hahah!

  • @goorgee Gingrich is reallllllllllllyyyyyyy "borrowing" his ideas. Are people not noticing this!? He just wants votes

  • @goorgee Trying to fish for that endorsement.

  • @goorgee Gingrich is being smart. He realizes how much clout Paul has, so he tries to win over Paul to his side and get his endorsement.

  • @goorgee as often as they are talking fiscal policy. When ron paul goes into his naive fantasy talks regarding his foreign polciy Newt rightly disagrees with him

  • @nicolasraage Right on.

  • @goorgee Who DOESN'T agree with Ron Paul!?

  • @tristynleos Me. His foreign policy is dangerous to freedom everywhere.

  • Romney and Gingrich are like to girls bitch fighting over gossip spreading.... Someone get them a tampon!

  • Ron Paul is a good philosopher, but good luck enacting everything Ron.

  • @TheLongTimeObserver Ron is the only one with any chance of beating Obama. Paul supporters will have little reason to vote if voting means more of the same. Obama=Romney=Gingrich=Santorum.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheLongTimeObserver He'll have no problem bringing the troops home. That'll be the first thing.

  • Wow. Santorum is the ONLY one with the right priorities!!

  • RON OR DEATH

  • @amnmarino I for one choose death.

  • santorum looked like a child who wants a toy his parents won't buy him

  • @mammothorbust people like you vote without knowledge.

  • @TheLongTimeObserver eh...Mittens and Newt did the worst tonight and Santorum had a few high points more then them, but his lows were low....RP did best in this one I think

  • @TheLongTimeObserver Santorum is right on healthcare vs Mittens.....not everyone can afford healthcare and is free riding on healthcare...stupid Mittens

  • @FinFags Romeny agrees not everyone can afford healthcare, that is why those 8% that couldn't had the option of paying the state a "tax" if you will, so they wouldn't be free riding. The free rider had to pay a portion to the state, therefore no more free riders...technically speaking.

  • @TheLongTimeObserver you must be a genius to have been able to figure out that I don't have any political knowledge from the one sentence I posted. Good job! Good luck with Santorum getting the nomination haha I hope that works out for ya

  • The Republican candidates just said we should go back to 1950s medical practice throwing away all of the advancements in medicine in the past 50 years. We also need to lay off most care staff and shut down new drug production phasing out all of the medicines developed since 1950. Then we will have 1950 prices, polio, romantic fever, measles, chicken pox, etc and we will cease to be able to do any open heart surgery. We will not be diagnosed with diabetes and we will die horrible deaths.

  • @haklerherr You have no idea what you are talking about.

  • Why does everyone have to ask candidates to make promises to address their problems. Everyone wants a program to give them something or make sure they have it. People don't like the idea of government that is there to protect their liberty and protect them from aggression by others but they love the idea of government that provides things.
