  • THANK YOU FOR POSTING!! I was having difficulty casting on in the middle of a project and this is the ONLY way that will work for me! :-)

  • Can you make the video with more light?

  • This looks exactly like the German cast on method except she is holding her yarn differently.

Watch lucyneatby's German cast on video if you want to learn how to do this cast on. Her videos are VERY easy to understand.

  • I learned this cast on when i was 17 years old from my Italian aunt I'm 60 now and still use it.

  • sorry, I don't no know what you do, but this is not a italian cost on.

  • cant seer anything -- its too dark & too far away - also too short - what does this get you - how does it look from the other methods of the Italian cast on- AKA as tubular c/o & kirtchner stitch?- too bad-almost a wast of time-

  • You need more light and more close-up! This is really hard to make out.

  • This cast on is often called Long Tail cast on. There are different ways of working it, this one is similar to the one my Mum taught me, but I've since learned methods that are much faster for me (because they don't involve letting go of the needle). There are other cast ons called Italian Cast On, that are quite different from this one, that have a tubular bottom.

  • this is so stupid I can't even get it

  • Hi Margaret - LOVE your videos! I'd wanted to do one of the bullion for quite a while, glad you did it!
