  • You got to be out of your mind, cutting into that beautiful carbon fiber guitar! The Kahler

is an awesome bridge but put it into a different axe.

  • I did not put a locking nut. It stays in tune really well without it.

  • Did you add a locking on the neck?

  • That's ones wierd-ass guitar.

  • I have added a stutter switch for rhythmic kill patterns.

  • you should add a kill switch there really cheap and easy to make

  • @GuitarBoyEvan I've done that already. Very cool.

  • DO SLAYER.

  • No. It's a standard Kahler unit. The reason I chose the Kahler is because of it's shallow design. Any other unit would hang out the back because the guitar is so thin.

  • That is sweet - so you don't need a hipshot trem setter or a block or anything underneath?

  • @MatCarfi76 No. As it turns out, the Kahler doesn't put much pressure on the guitar like a floyd does.

  • No. As it turns out, the Kahler doesn;t put much pressure on the body like a floyd would.

  • Hi Mike. It sounds a lot like a Tele. With my wiring configuration, I can switch each pickup between singel coil, series, or parallel. Overall I would say it sounds great clean, or dirty, or anything in between. And now that I installed the Kahler, it covers almost any sound I need (gotta have my whammy). I'll post some new videos with this guitar in the future, so subscribe to my channel and you'll get the announcement when they post. Thanks, Guitarfreak Rick

  • Wow! That's one hell of an space guitar! Does it sound really different to a regular guitar in your opinion?

  • It stays in tune really well, partially due to the nut material... but if it does go out, the fine tuners make it quick and easy to adjust.

  • Question for you: How well does it stay in tune when you bend a string? Kahler tremolo bridges are my favorite but the strings always seem to go flat after a bend but doing a dive on the bar brings the string back in tune. I've modded my Kahler so that it doesn't go out of tune with bends or bar use but was wondering what yours was like on your guitar?

  • There are 2 models...1 for flat top guitars (like a strat) and the other style for Les Paul type guitars (it installs onto the existing bridge posts). Dig around on youtube and you can see the factory videos. Good Luck!

  • do they have a kahler for a standard mexican strat? what kahler model? thanks

  • @jjorbita No. In that case, I recommend a Super Vee trem whick won't require any cutting at all.

  • nice job!!
