@spid135 If I am understanding you right, you should be able to do it the same way as the steam version.

Press Escape during gameplay. Click on Options, then click the keyboard tab, then Advanced then check "Enabled Developer Console" then hit apply.

Ok, so the problem is: I was bored, so i decided to play with some NPCs. What you do with those NPCs? Kill them of course :]. To the problem: I have now 7 bodies of combines and 3 bodies of Antlions. Can someone tell me how do i make the bodies disappear? Please, help, i don't know what to do, impulse 203 doesn't help ;(

ah, yes. you can also bind ent_fire !picker ingnite to a key or button in the console, then you have a button to light the person you are looking at on fire!

I have never tried to download custom maps into half life 2, but I have with gmod. For half life 2, you first download the map, then open C:\program files\steam\steamapps\yourstea­mname\half-life2\hl2\maps then drag the map into that folder. For gmod the file is C:\program files\steam\steamapps\yourstea­mname\garrysmod\garrysmod\maps

Can you download any maps with out g-mod. (I have hl2, ep 1 and 2 and hl2 deathmatch.)

Also ive been trying to find a hl2 map maker, any suggestions would be great

I think all gmod maps are compatible with any source engine game, you just wont have the sandbox function.

And for your second question, there is only one Half Life 2 map maker\editor, and it is the official one released by VALVe, it is called Hammer and it is included with the Source SDK.

To get the SDK, if you already have steam go to the tools tab, find Source sdk and install it, if you dont have steam, then you have to download and install it and make a account, then follow directions.

To open to console, you must enable it. Instructions: Start Half-Life 2 Episode 2 Pause the game Click Options Go to the Keyboard Tab Click Advanced Click "Enable Developer Console" Hit ok Hit Apply Hit Ok Unpause the game Push the ~ button to open the console. Hope this helped ~Gman0Productions

the combine elite / nova prospekt soldier are just material reskins used by valve though the prison guard uses a different ai sorta to spawn a guard its npc_combine_p there is no console command to spawn elite sorry to say

Kleiner's health must be less than 40 (default hp for citizens and squads) go change it to 100

i have 3 new console commands which i think you dont know well here you go: firetarget (you can catch items from a far distance and when your holding that item use the same console command and it will stuck in the air)

ent_teleport ( you teleport wherever you aim)

prop_dynamic_create 1 (creates an error sign pretty crazy if you ask me)
