@maggiexmassacre actually I think I heard of their being at least 1 in the wild before. It was so rare and people didn't know how it came to be so they decided to f-with the DNA to get white tigers. But it IS possible in the wild (well it would be if there where enough tigers in the wild) for their to be a white one. It's just super rare. :)

Zoo's breed and kill or sell tiger after tiger just till they are able to have one "white tiger". They mix breed a bengal tiger and siberian tiger to produce the white gene. Bengal Tigers do carry the gene although it is not offen that a white cub is born. In the wild it is very rare for a white bengal tiger to survive by nature. It is very sad and true. Just look it up on you tube the truth of the white tiger........it will make your stomach turn. Love these cats please pass the knowledge;)
