Nice, succinct review. Helped me decide whether to "upgrade" from Dash to Curve. Gonna stick w/Curve, no matter what the T-Mobile sales guy told me. Helpful for my daughter too, shopping for her first PDA.
You gotta take some features away, like GPS, WIFI, or High Speed Cellular Support, or Video or online video streaming or Youtube. Please give me a break, The curve is just a knockoff Palm Treo, come on look at it. And to compare it to the Dash, Please check the specs lady and be logical, sensible, rational.
only recent curve models have gps, 8310 and 8320. this video is one year old and she has the old curve 8300, which definately didnt have gps at that time
I'm 15, I tell my parent I want a Blackberry and they say "yes". In my high skool I see not just few but A LOT of people have smart phone or PDA. It doesn't really matters if your college student or business ppl, PDA can do a lot of things like QWERTY keyboard so you can type text message VERY FAST and it also help you manage things like up coming test or appointment. At the same time it also have the features a regular cell phone have like camera, music player, games.....ect.
Yeah, I'm going to be one of those college students with that blackberry. My grandparents are getting me one (through t mobile so it has wifi.... my grandpa works for t mobile so that's a plus) for graduation.
If you plan on using it for internet purposes alot then go with the blackberry if not then everything else on the dash is better multimedia, camera, it has video recording witch the blackberry doesn't its smaller the screen is better and brighter, but the blackberry is a lil easier to get use to typing on and the it is the better choice if you're using it for emails and internet purposes, but again if getting emails are not important to you then go with the dash all the way.
MY BRO has the dash and ima get the blackberry so hes always saying "yea my phone is better then the blackberry curve" and stuff....sooo im always seeing vids. on comparing the 2 phones together to me i prefer the blackberry curve its more convenient well its my opinion thanks for the vidd
Curve is gorgeous and has the BEST reception among the portable phones.Great service and very functional phone all together, I recomend the Qstarz GPS bluetooth as it will turn the curve in an amazing GPS unit.
Camera is just great comparable with a regular 2 mp.
The other one is just ugly and microsoft. U need to be a geek to use it.
i have a tmo dash and a tmo 8100. the dash is a piece of shit, and its not new ive have them both since november of 06. im all about the blackberry and once you own one youll understand. but if pc world wants to come blackberry curve verse tmobile its only fair to use the tmo wing(i hate winodws mobile tho)
The dash wins hands down i've had both phones. If you get an unlocked dash and use it on cingular/AT&T its the perfect phone because you dont have to use t-mobiles crap service and the data speeds on AT&T network is faster than t-mobile so the dash is the perfect phone when you use it with cingular
i like my dash alot but im thinkn about get the bb 3850i cure on boost with the full survice unlimited.

I hope english is not your first language because you can't write worth a shit for being 15 years old.

It's spelled English, not english you numbnut.

what the fuck? Oh my fucking GOD a capitalization error!!! You know, not everyone capitalizes everything that needs to be on the internet.
I have to agree with foehammerone though, it was a little hard for me to comprehend RickPickerBen's post because of the grammar errors.
