Love this album. donna, disco and natalie were kinda pushing Re off the top when this lp came out, but I've always thought it was way underated. it could have used a couple more tracks to fill it out.

What I´ve heard Aretha herself is sitting on the rights and has´nt come to terms to release those albums of the late 70´s.

Then some of the Mastertapes where found in a garage or something sold by Aretha in Detroit some years ago. She´d better have copies...

I have heard that Aretha is blockin the release too but I wonder if that is true. I know she was very proud of La Diva and Sweet Passion at the time of their release.

There is not one bad track on the YOU lp and and her voice was (physically) peaking on Sweet Passion and La Diva.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO­OOOO GOD YASKAM I played this cleaning up my house and my mother went wild and actually started crying. She went to her closet and dug out the org. album and said that she hadn't thought of this song in years. I was amazed to see the record, I didn't know we had it.
