Im inspired by both artists. the only reason i would chose banksy over obey is because of the mass number of people who wear his clothing brand with no knowledge of whats behind it and what it means. bunch of posers are out there nowadays and they only do it to look "cool". I despise Zumies for selling his clothes to fake people. youd be surprised at the large number of people who think andre the giant's picture is Shepard Fairy haha.

I think there's been a number of times where fairey himself has appropriated an image or symbol only because it looked cool, not understanding it's history or original context. So you know , maybe he and his followers deserve each other. banksy is dope tho.
