@tbwanat, if you think that is funny, you ain't heard nothing yet. First time I got to DRC there was this guy who kept insisting "Nataka kuuzia wewe bouteille moya ya bière". It took me almost a week to figure that the kind soul simply wanted to buy me a drink!!!!!
Great stuff. Now, THIS IS A CRY FROM THE WILDERNESS. I'M DESPERATELY LOOKING FOR A CONGOLESE SONG THAT USED TO BE VERY POPULAR IN KENYA IN THE 1980'S: SALONGO. WHO CAN TELL ME WHERE I CAN FIND IT? I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER WHO TEH COMPOSER WAS. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
@genda68 and @MrSinafungu, I loooove the way thiz guys tried 2 fumble with Swahili. eti batoto batatusaidia hata zamani...tht killed me. Now listen 2 Toujours Ok wea he collabos with Mangwana n Mwana Boka introduces the song by saying Ladies n gentlemAn. Looooovely!

This song made me steal KSh 143 from my mum to go and just see him when he visited Kenya back in 1980s and guess what i was less than 13yrs so they did not let me get through the door , but that did not prevent me, i climbed through the back office window, of course i broke it , i know is bad but i was just in love with Franco, just RIP the king of african Music, you were just every thing most people needed in life, you will always be remembered for ever.
who doesn`t like Franco`s music?may be guys outside Africa.I remember when he came in Kisumu in Kenya to perform, still i was young i heard his first touch on his guitar, people broke the walls of the stadium and some died.We miss Franco so dearly.Onderi,Texas,USA.
Le Grand maitre, Franco luambo luanzo makiadi the king of African music. This guy has lyrics for everybody to listen and he had the best composer and poet in the music world like papa Lutumba simaro masiya.
