aww this video is amazing. their scream album is frickin awesome too. i love looking back at these older videos its amazing to see how much they have grown as a band :) & their english has improved so much now! i really hope they come & tour in the US for their next album. i love bill. i'm from america and i know them. your engilish is fine. i love their german songs a little better than the english actually. You should check it out. Looks aren't everything either. Its the music and how it makes you feel that matters. I like Escape the Fate, and i don't like the lead singer, or the rest of the band members looks, but i like the music. good luck with the engilsh. I FOUND IT. At long last. I credit my looking up Don't Jump on youtube (credit the song, that is) for getting me interested in Tokio Hotel... but if this interview hadn't been playing while my friend was trying to get me into them, I never would have looked it up. I wasn't paying attention to any of the music that was playing, I just heard Bill talking. It's so weird to think about my perspective then--when the accent was jarring, the faces weren't familiar... wow...

You're right about mana, he's possibly my favorite, and somehow I believe that mana was the first of the musicians to really go full feminine lolita in the Visual Kei world. If someone had done it first, it certainly wasn't as influential as Mana (several bands, his own fashion line, more fans that anyone can count in asia and europe). I still smile every time I watch Gardenia.

i'm from america and i know them. your engilish is fine. i love their german songs a little better than the english actually. You should check it out. Looks aren't everything either. Its the music and how it makes you feel that matters. I like Escape the Fate, and i don't like the lead singer, or the rest of the band members looks, but i like the music. good luck with the engilsh. I'm taking german and i'm two years into it so im not too good. I'm good at the simple stuff. engilsh is hard. =)

I FOUND IT. At long last. I credit my looking up Don't Jump on youtube (credit the song, that is) for getting me interested in Tokio Hotel... but if this interview hadn't been playing while my friend was trying to get me into them, I never would have looked it up. I wasn't paying attention to any of the music that was playing, I just heard Bill talking. It's so weird to think about my perspective then--when the accent was jarring, the faces weren't familiar... wow...

Bill can look feminine at times, but it's not looks that matter it's the personality, and his personality is amazing so don't even talk about that. I truly love him and so do tons of other girls so don't go saying that no one can love him.

Omg, they suck so bad I have one more thing. That song supposedely about suicide at the end, exemplifies exactly why they just totally suck. During the chorus of the song hes just like, "Don't die, don't die!" That is their version of a song about suicide, its a shame that retards who state the obvious and can't be creative enough to write a clever song is the music that the next generation thinks is "cool"...shame

These dudes are just gay because their music sucks. Whatever their hit "one hit wonder" song was, a f-in 3 year old could have written that. It made no sense, had sentences and words in there just to make it rhyme. Anybody who likes this band, you seriously have issues with liking things that other people like. You don't need to listen to the worst crap in the world just to be "different". Calling these dudes gay doesn't even begin to scratch the surface, they r a disgrace to the music industry.

they may or may not be gay, but if they were they certainly wouldn't be afraid to come out since it wouldn't make a difference to fans.
Ps.... if they are gay because they seem more feminine then most bands... well then 98.9 percent of all Japanese J-Rock/Visual Kei/ and J-pop bands must be gay as well (since they put feminine to a new degree never seen before)
Check out Alice Nine, Malice Mizer, D'espairsRay, Dir en grey, Kagrra, Schwarz Stein... they make tokio hotel look masculine

You're right about mana, he's possibly my favorite, and somehow I believe that mana was the first of the musicians to really go full feminine lolita in the Visual Kei world. If someone had done it first, it certainly wasn't as influential as Mana (several bands, his own fashion line, more fans that anyone can count in asia and europe). I still smile every time I watch Gardenia.
