  • they are called sachets very common where I come from we still use them , you put in jar and Voala...

  • YAY FOR BEING CANADIAN!! :D

  • Whats the difference to the environment plastic vs plastic? They both can be recycled what is this shit.

  • @MatrixShadow A canister needs a lot more plastic then a paper-thin bag. Also, there are many different kinds of plastic, and some are better than others. Not sure which is better here.

  • i had mini ones when i was elementary and it was disgusting X.x oh well :I i had to go to a other school and carton milk :D

  • Might I ask..why are a lot of your video unavailable in "my" courtry...when I'm in Canada...Yeah bags of milk are awesome we left a bag and a carton for a week in my sister's fridge and the bag was fine and the carton tasted like crap...

  • Milk bag science....

  • CANADA! lets put water in our bags next!

  • i have mini milk bags at my school

  • why? why do this??

  • Fuck Milk it is EXTREMELY unhealthy, full of pesticides/antibiotics and RICE MILK IS MUCH HEALTHIER THAN THIS SHIT

    RON PAUL 2012

  • @ilovebarsnewjersey haha, ya man, milk is really dangerous

  • I'm in Ontario and I fucking hate these bags. To be fair, I'm an American living in Canada. I didn't realize how spoiled I was until I came to Canada. :(

  • In japan they sell shampoo in bags too, kind of the same idea lol

  • milk bags are good for freshness 1.33L each so the milk is open for the least amt of time

also light and maneuverable but it all depends on the quality of jug you have. if you have a bad jug thats maybe too short, then you might run into the problems that OP is having

  • I live in Alberta and I learned about milk bags from an American TV show...We're really all over the place in Canada, and I wish we had this option here!!!

  • U people are savages.....

  • I never knew Americans don't drink milk out of bag.

  • think about it this way, its SO much cheaper than milk in a carton. Also we recycle them, or give the bags to a charity that knits them together to make sleeping mats in Hati and Africa, its a strong plastic, so its durable and waterproof. We have found SO many positives to using bags.

sorry as a Canadian I had to point out the positives. Thanks!:)

  • um what happened 2 all the charms

  • Woah. I've been using milk bags scince I was born. It's weird how people say it's stupid to me. And no milk bags arent a huge mess.

  • here in OZ we have cartons. those bags are a kitchen disastor in the making! >;)

  • ._.

  • They drink Milk in a bag? GOD that place is a mess

  • Milk bags are so nice have lol I love them

  • Milk in a bag, that is just stupid...

  • I live in Manitoba, and here we drink milk from cartons.

  • Haha everyone's like ouhhh Canada you so sneaky ;) lol

  • Omg I remember my school sold some milk at the cafeteria like that and that was our first time having it and then what you have to do its stick a straw in the bag!! It was soo weird

  • That just seems totally inconvenient. And considering plastic jugs are better suited for reuse, not really more cost effective.

  • i am from germany and everytime i hear something about canada i feel this country is really weird and cool

  • LOL. I'm from California (LA), and this made me crack me up. I want a bag of milk now.

  • I live in Ontario and we always get bags of milk. We can purchase cartons or jugs but bags are so much better :3

  • Im Canadian, and i love our milk bags and cartons and jugs

  • I'm from South Africa and we have the cartons and bags. But I prefer the bag

  • is awsome how much you learn from other countries by just watching this kind of videos, i mean it!

  • I AM NOT A AMERICAN BUT I'M A THI.. WOW!!! THAT IS SOOO COOL!!

  • Those clever Canadians...

  • Note to All: To avoid the bag slumping over when you pour, cut a triangle on both corners.

    And now you know.

  • ... I've tried buying the plastic jugs, the carton, and they all taste like their containers!! Milk in a bag is what does a body good! No weird taste, unless like she says you have some strong odour emitting stuff in your fridge.

  • My dad and I are from the states, but my family owns some land in Ontario, and we go there every summer. My dad says there has been a few times where he wasn't paying attention and accidentally cut the corner where the handle was. LOL

  • i wish our milk came in a bag.

  • i would lick her vag secretions.

  • we dont have milk bottles in my country ._.

  • try cutting the other corner too....

  • Wow! Like we never saw it!!! :/

  • How to drink: Stab it with a straw and suck like a crazy person.

  • How Do U Even Not Spill It I mean to me i dont do thatbeacause im amarican

  • I'm American, as expected, my mind is blown.

  • im from saskatchewan.... And most of us get a 4L of milk in a jug.

  • so wait, those fridge magnet milk cutters... those only exist in ontario? fucking weird my mind is blown haha

  • wait seriously? we're the only ones who drink their milk in a bag? I hate that shit, especially when it doesnt get into the milk jug all the way and then it spills when you pour it!

  • i'm sorry but that seems very unapitizing to me lol no offence

  • LOL, im canadian, is it sad that ive never drank milk form a carton?

  • I'm Glad My Milk Is In A Gallon.

  • We have these in england, but it's better because the 'jugits' we use have a funnel that let's the milk out. Any ways, it's hard to carry and hard to leave!

  • i live in canada too

  • that's just a mess waiting to happen

  • cuuuuute

  • Yeah, I have, like, a question. Why do you package your milk so fucking stupidly.

  • you live in canada. well ok

  • It's like magic O.O

  • I found out today that there's a thing such as milk in a bag I live in America just like how you thought it was weird we don't know or do that we think its weird that you do lol

  • I've been drinking milk out of a bag my entire life! It's great haha! And I live ten minutes away from the Canadian/US border in Ontario! Never realized that Americans don't have bagged milk! It's so true about having to cut the corner of the bag just right....it's a learned skill lol

  • Canadians seem so nice. :) Too bad "software engineer" isn't on the approved Federal Skilled Worker list... I was really tempted to try.

  • its shit like this is y people think canadians r fuckin wierd.......i love canada

  • LIE LIE LIE LIE

  • I'm Canadian and I've never seen milk in a bag before sooo.... Not all Canadians prefer the sack over the jugs.

  • Why do I always feel like Canadians are aliens

  • I just got a boner...from the bagged milk. Never thought that would happen.

  • In the U.K we have a flippy lid on the jug with a thing that pierces the bag so it has a proper spout. FUN INTERNATIONAL FACT.

  • I can't believe I never noticed this during my several trips to Vancouver and Toronto. It's probably because I mostly eat in restaurants when I travel.

Oh, well, so long as you can still buy it in cartons or jugs, I'm O.K. with this. It just gives you another purchase option.

  • why not just pour it in the milkjug?

  • @HelluGoes because it has more of a chance of spilling and going bad....

  • u can resikel cartens too

  • Are you Knives Chau?

  • @snudbimp12 ROFL! Good one! x]

  • I am Canadian, but i much prefer having the gallon jug of Milk Vs. the bags

  • @Crazychicken224 What is a gollon? Is that some sort of foreign measurement that only the United States uses?

  • @korin125 Actually according to Canadian Statute Law, in the 1980's when the metric system was first introduced in Canada it was greatly opposed to. Therefore leading to a decision to allow the imperial unit of measurement to be shown on any product as long as it was accompanied by its Metric counterpart. Many services in Canada are still using imperial measurement, (Trains, Airplanes, and the Majority of development companies.) Oh and 1 US Gallon is 3.79 Litres.

  • @korin125 and it's spelt gallon not gollon

  • @korin125

I know you're likely being sarcastic, but...

Of course, it's the traditional English fluid measurement, the same that good old Canada used before the shift to the Metric system. I realize that an imperial gallon and an American gallon have somewhat different amounts in them, but the name's the same. Trivia: it's actually based on the Roman fluid measurement, the congius, which dates back at least 2000 years.

Internationally, most U.S. goods sold are measured metrically.

  • How bizarre... I don't know if the youtubers who seem to think this is better than gallon jugs are just being polite, or if they are somewhat retarded?

  • btw That looks like fun! :D The way my old school used to do it was stick a straw in the top of the bag and there ya' go! XD lol But I haven't seen that place in like ten years so idk if they still do that. Huh, maybe?

  • When I used to drink milk I would get these milk bags at my old elementary school (late 90's-early 00's) and I'm an American. I told my friends this at the beginning of the school year and one of them said that was the most ghetto thing they ever heard. -_- Then I told him that's what they do in Canada. He seemed really interested about that. So yes, some parts of America does this too, but it's extremely rare. I would like to move to Canada actually. Canadians have bagged almond milk too right?

  • I was thinking of moving to canada. But after watching this, I don't think I could ever adjust to the change.

  • @Vulg4r

cant you listen ? They dont only have bags, you can choose.

  • Just to clear this up, bagged milk is only popular in eastern parts of Canada. Western Canada uses gallon jugs and cartons just like Americans. I have yet to see bagged milk in stores here.

  • Nobody needs instructions this detailed to use a gallon jug.

  • @thechristmasfan, stfu

  • omg milk in a bag,i'm american we have it in gallon jugs.

  • You learned that Americans don't have these. I am also Canadian, and it took me hearing Americans talking about how weird they were to discover that they existed. I guess they don't in Sask.

  • thats cool

  • my canadian says he hasn't seen the milk in bags

  • I'm American, and after watching this, part of me would really like for our milk to come in bags now. XD

  • I used to live there!

  • I am from canada an I never seen that

  • Canadians are so stupid

  • i swear to god in 5th grade we had the EXACT SAME THING! and it didnt taste any different but quite awkward

  • well i had never seen this before... <----from Australia :o)

  • r u serious we all kno how to use are own shit...pointless vid

  • @Nikkii199045 Well, yeah, but here's the funny thing about that (get ready to laugh, it'll be a hoot)...this was meant for AMERICANS to watch and learn! D'ohohoho!

  • i'm british columbian ... we don't do that, i saw people in seatle do that and china

  • i really like the part where you say "make sure you rince it out"

  • the bags can be recycled? i throw mine out all the time >_>

  • This seems so much more efficient than the American way. AWESOME.

  • Unlike almost everyone else commenting, I WANT THERE TO BE BAGS OF MILK IN AMERICA!!! Thats so cool! ^.^

  • Cool!

  • I stick with cartons

  • i'm from montreal and i buy my milk in cartons..

  • im an american

  • the fact that there are videos about milk bags is just sad. its totally normal to drink from bags...whats so goddamn weird about it??

  • @yumOMNOMNOMyum if you're american, its just foreign and a video is good for the visualization. the only drink in a bag here is a caprisun.

  • She's like some sort of child who is pouring milk for the first time. How exciting! What will she discover next?

  • I plan to live in Canada one day. Better stray learning these things now...

  • I had no idea...just pour the whole thing in the jug...

  • Ehh, I rather keep on pouring from a carton. XD

  • well how do u pour it in ur cerael then seal it?

  • I live in Southern California and every public school I know of has little bags of milk for the kids- all three flavors (regular, chocolate, strawberry). They used to be carton but they changed almost a decade ago.

  • I live in america and we have gallons of milk, and they are recyclable too and they aren't pricy either... and you can reuse them for other things too, I guess.

  • @100SugarRush001 Oh yes, those American gallons are really recyclable. I recycle my gallons into gallons of gas and gallons of hot sauce. Don't buy any Canadian gallons though, they'll turn into litres!

  • We have them here in Lithuania...

  • im prettty sure shes kidding guys haha. awesome video tho!

  • @reesespeices100 umm... we do have the bags in Canada but we also have the cartons and jugs.

  • @musicgirl14ml im from vancouver and ive neeeever heard of bags of milk.

  • hi hi funny.....

  • C...Can't you just recycle the plastic gallons of milk too?

  • ooowwww

    ahhhhhhh

    Milk in a bag

    SO EXCITING.!!!!!! hahahhhaaha :)

  • Don't pour it.... cut the bottom as it is being lowered into the jug

  • SWEDISH MILK ROCK :D

  • @LegoAnimationFreak8 Now with skruvkork!

  • That's just stupid. can it get more simple than a carton with a screw cap?

  • Not everyone in Canada drinks milk out of a bag... I live in Alberta and I've never seen milk in a bag before.

  • Okay so... you have to drink it all? or do you close the hole with some tape. XD

  • People are saying that it makes no sense putting milk in bags but yet they're saying to pour the milk in that jug? That jug has no lid! It'll spill all over the place. That makes no sense to me...

  • @lotusflower281

you are totally RIGHT! I made the experiment, bought a bag of milk, tried to pour it into a bottle...and spilled the milk all over my kitchen table! Watch my MILK DISASTER video:

    watch?v=eVNgj8fcOZs

P.S. thanks to Riot659 who brought me here

  • I watched this video to the end. my life is so empty.

  • haha i dont understand how this is so weird for some people. its normal for me! i guess im just used to it

  • Very interesting and informative video. It's great to see how other cultures and countries do things. Very cute girl too.

  • This isn't new. I remember milk coming like this from Alpenrose Dairy in Portland back about 1970.. It never took off and was discontinued in favor of paper cartons.

  • Comment removed

  • You can't trust those shifty Canadians, always trying to pass off ham as bacon. And now this?

  • Great video... You forgot to mention that it's usually much cheaper because there is no carton and that you can freeze it???

  • Do you know that we are the only mammals that drinks milk way past our infancy? Calcium and other valuable nutrients can be obtain through other sources way much nutrients like vegetables. Think for a moment, why do mammals drink milk? Yeap! Exactly! That's the purpose of milk, although it is hard to imagine/or taste a cake or some sort of goodies that doesn't have milk in it!

  • I am from Vancouver, I have never seen milk sold in bags here :^\ but I have heard of it, I thought it was like a foreign thing.

  • Comment removed

  • That's weird stuff man....Milk in a bag? Eh? That's a pretty eskimo. Arrrrr!!!!!!!

  • You can recycle jugs too.

  • im Canadian ive never heard of this

  • omg wtf! lol so weird x)

well it's how we all live lol :)

  • this is so weird to me, i live in montreal, and i too have been drinking milk out of a bag my entire life. why don't they have milk bags?

  • Wow!!! She's Hot!!!

  • At my odl school we did milk in bags, except we just stabbed it with a straw and drank it >:3

  • oh and.. that's some thick ass milk

  • you are probably the only country in the world who drink from a bag, eh

  • @xXDeViLRape no we have them in england 2

  • @bellaisaprincess Haha okay!

  • Well western Canada uses cartons and jugs for milk. We do not use bagged milk, in fact I have never seen a bag of milk in my life.

  • I'm usually the kind of American
