I recorded a live performance of Townes on the radio singing this in 1982, and your guitar playing is absolutely a perfect match! You sing well and really do evoke his memory--keep up the good work!

Ever since first listening to Townes ive become mesmerised by his songwriting ability and spent many an hour sitting there with my guitar and working out his songs as accurately as possible. Ive posted a few of his other songs not all to his exceptional standard, but id appreiciate it if you'd check them out. You do Townes justice on all of them Oli. Ironically, though you could say he was a songwriter's songwriter, I think he's more well known to people in Europe than in America, so there might just be audiences for that type of music by up and coming performers--good luck in any endeavors in that direction! And any more Townes (or others) I'm sure would be appreciated--thanks! :)
@cocomo6969 I really don't know, i would love to go into musical performance but everybody in england seems to be into this horrible pop folk like Mumford and Sons... I think the subtle complexity of artists like Townes is just over their heads..
