Or how wilt thou say to thy brother,Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? everytime you go to a video like this or anything that has to do with religion you see nothing but a bunch of arguing im sure thats the last thing the lord wants jesuse's main messages was love peace happiness and faith but everytime i come to a video like this i see the complete opposite....
The Savior pled with His Father that the bitter cup of the pains suffered in atoning for sin might pass from Him. Yet, He humbly submitted to the Father's will and wisdom in accepting that the answer was, "No." The Savior set the example for all to follow, including humility to look to Our Father in Heaven for strength and to acknowledge His wisdom is superior to our own.
Perhaps the most difficult of challenges to being truly humble is to accept the answer, "No." While living in Jerusalem and studying the testimonies of the Gospel writers, I was impressed that the most sincere and soul anguishing prayer ever uttered was answered, "No."
All will feel inadequate and weak during the challenges of mortality. We may ask ourselves questions such as: How can we meet the demands of family and work? How can we better serve in Church callings? How can we overcome sins that so easily beset us? How can we overcome addictions, impatience, anger and a host of other frailties and temptations? All of these concerns have a common answer — we must humble ourselves before God and seek His guidance and strength.
Proverbs 30:5-6 Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.
"Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you."
I guess that makes your verse that you quoted false, considering that Proverbs was ADDED AFTER Deuteronomy!
I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.
@bbefme We "sustain" the Prophet to show our trust in the Lord's decision. It is not a democratic vote into office - it is a vote of support in the Lord's Church and order.
@DefendingMormonism No person "added to His words..." The Holy Bible, Old testament and New testament, are the words of God. Jesus Christ is the word of God. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. No offense DefendingMormonism, but your on the wrong side. Know that. Jesus Christ and Satan are not brothers. The so called "angel moroni" was really Lucifer!
2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

@Kazae02 So then by that measure Paul was not an Apostle and neither was Barnabas. However Acts 14:14 would seem to indicate that these two were in fact Apostles. The way I approach the reference to Acts 1:16-26 is that they were specifically looking for someone to replace Judas Iscariot as a founding Apostle. Yes this is my inerpretation and I am open to correction :-) God Bless.
Actually it's much more than that. Please show some more respect to our church leaders. They are here to teach and guide us to Christ and a means of exaltation. We would do well not to forget that.
If you truly want to follow Christ and his teachings, read the Bible. You don't need no modern day charlatans to tell you how to supposedly follow him.
I am a member of the church though inactive, and its wrong of you to silence this person. He is entitled to his views, to censor him is anti-democratic.
The Latter-day Saints who were forced out of Missouri in the 1830s by a ruthless population, and a governor who declared an "extermination" order, was also very "anti-democratic."
Mormons probably understand the importance of freedom of expression, and practicing religion, more than most Americans.
They've manfully borne the brunt of what it means to exercise a free conscience certainly, but when a religion maintains that ultimately it will govern the US, when it decries free enquiry by stating that it reduces faith, and when its Prophet had clear dictatorial objectives you can't hope to sit there and seriously suggest that Mormons are chief in awareness of what it means to enjoy personal liberties. Are you blind or just dense?
Romney was interrogated regarding his faith because of Joseph Smith's documented transgressions and because he piously believes that Hinckley and now Monson are transmitters of supernal divine wisdom. If the religion is false, then the people's concerns were entirely valid, and like Smith, Romney was an unwitting enemy of democratic values. His dishonesty cost him an actual shot at the presidency, and most of us are relieved.
You sit here and lecture Mormons about democracy, then admit that you base your vote on a person's faith and religion, rather than their political credentials, personal integrity and merit.
I assume you would also not have voted for JFK if you are not a Catholic?
And Lieberman would be denied your vote because you do not believe in Judaism?
Jesus Christ will one day rule this earth, and he will do it through his Church.
Free inquiry is highly encouraged in the Church. I have been surrounded by educated Mormons my entire life, and I consider myself one (I have probably read more anti-Mormon literature than you have, and continually read critical commentary).
Dictatorial objectives? No more than Jesus. The secular man does not understand the Kingdom of God,so I am not surprised you think that.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I love the peace and joy that I feel as i watch these highlights. Reminding me of the wonderful words of inspiration given to us a little more then a month ago. I'm so grateful to be a member of the Lord's Church and grateful for the knowledge that we have a true Prophet of God on the earth today.
He is not obligated to be respectful, and let's not have a referendum on my "reasoning" when its you who has seen fit to cleave uncritically to the every dictum of the church. Much of what these men spout is divisive nonsense. The dislike of Mormonism is not a supernatural phenomenon, its due to the doctrines promulgated by the church. Joseph was killed because he attempted to set up a theocracy in Illinois, and when he smashed the Expositor he proved himself to have dictatorial tendencies.
Don't misunderstand me, I retain some belief in the church, but as believers we need to be more candid. Stop obfuscating peoples' insight just because it conflicts with your partisan agenda.

Your types always amuse me.
Did you know that the Jewish leaders during Christ's life accused Jesus of having a devil?
They hated him and eventually persecuted him.
Isn't it interesting how people like you are similarly coming up with all sorts of fantastic stories about how "evil" Joseph Smith was?
Someday you'll realize how ridiculous you sound.

I understood apostles had to walk with Christ according to (Acts 1:16-26). This prerequisite if frequently ignored.
However, Jefferey Holland said it best, he said, "our little version on the path."

I did not silence anyone. merely asking someone to be more respectful is not silencing. Also, explain to me how I censored him.
You want censorship?
Here's something my grandpa taught me, you might do well to ponder it.
"Better to be silent and to be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt."
No offense, just don't at me with false allegations or I will expose your reasoning as foolish.
