Didn't they just stick the only gays together in this? would have left it with them saying (after they met the first time) that just because they're gay, doesn't mean they're perfect for each other.
@SergeCWazukie It's "Sunrise, Sunset". I never heard 'bout it, but I searched and it's from a musical called A Fiddler in the Roof, with the music by Jerry Bock, and lyrics by Seldon Harnick.
my most favorite scenes of this movie, of any movie. Love love that song. I have watched it over and over and over. Makes me want a gay wedding and am straight.
This film speaks NOTHING postivie about gays and marriage equality. It's horrible that the only gay couple in SATC gets married, yet, they blatantly imply that the marriage will be filled with adultery. The women's marriages have all been troubled by something: a cheating spouse, one that wants to take "time off" from the marriage, and one who apparently eye fucks the young hot nanny. Heck, why not marry (imo) the only likeable character in SATC, Stanford to a man who intends to cheat on him.
Agreed. The franchise jumped the shark with the shitty films. What woman in her right mind would take back, let alone, marry a guy who dumps her on her wedding day? I used to think of the SATC women as empowered, independent, blah blah blah, but not after the films.
@LenaLosAngeles1983 I think this part of the movie is uncomfortable to me because it gives the wrong idea about what a gay marriage can be like. While it is true that many, many gay couples have open relationships, the terms in which it is presented here fails to represent how things really are.
@ToutCQJM It is absurd, as we learned in the movie, to try to define other people's relationships with the rules and terms of your own. I think the writing here could have used a bit more research and thought so something that is real can be expressed accurately.
@LenaLosAngeles1983 just chill out, it's sex and the city.. What do you expect

@LenaLosAngeles1983: True. Then again, any gay moviegoer that willingly paid to see this crappy film deserves all these stereotypical, offensive bs.

I do not like carries hat in this, it makes her look horrendous. She would suit a softer style.
