This is by far the weakest cover version of "Das Modell". It sounds like they haven`t even understood what the song is really about.

The Cardigans, the Balanescu Quartet, Big Black, Ride and Zoot Woman have done much better interpretations of this song. My favorite is the Humppa version from Eläkeläiset.

The best version is of course the original from Kraftwerk.

I've not listened to this song since I started listening to Kraftwerk. Never used to like this Rammstein track, but now that I know where it comes from it sounds so awesome!

There's no point in comparing the two.. Rammstein wasn't trying to make a better version, simply making an homage to one of the most revolutionary groups of recent time.
