  • time for a short comment: that guy at 0:55 at a lot of microphones!

  • Thye American thieves sent soidiers to Iraq to steal oil and to force Iraq into letting the International bankers control the central bank of Iraq.Dont dream of them withdrawing from Iraq!!!

  • Al-Maliki's troops are largely formed of Shiites, in many instances, they will not, for obvious reasons, do battle with Sadr's militias who themselves are Shiites. Here we (US government)have given support via weapons, vehicles, training and the Iraqi and police personnel that refuse to do the job of supressing the Mahdi Militias of Sadr, are giving over to them these items and knowledge. No doubt this condition is increasing the perils confronting our American soldiers. It's awful!

  • AP? Staff ever covered a story on

who actually runs our government-the bankers?

New York City dictatorship was cooked up and sold in a series of weekly meetings convened by Felix Rohatyn and his good friend, David Rockefeller, that brought together select bankers, business, and labor leaders... The group, which was dubbed 'King Felix's Shadow Government" by some, later formally evolved into the New York Partnership...for David Rockefeller's global "shadow government," the Trilat Comm"

  • Let's elect an American for once!

Let's elect a leader who can just say NO to big money.

Bring the soldiers back and get the hell out of IRAQ!

  • i don`t think iraq and iraqies need mahdi militia not mahdi militia is needed in iraq , what does this militia want ? to me the answer is clear they want to control iraq so by all civilized world standerds this militia has got to go and it has no place in the civilized world today , period .

  • Lol. I think you are calling slavery civilized. It's just an ignorant statement to make. Sorry.

  • The surge is working...hahaha

  • This war is about Oil know the U.S. army is heading towards the Oil area. To extract that Oil. Fuck This War! U.S. is their for Oil.

  • The Iraqi army is heading down to Basra not the US army.

I find it funny that all of a sudden Nuri Al-Maliki found his nuts...I think that it is fairly obvious that the Bush Administration pumped his nuts up to go after Sadr and his militia. The timing is perfect because the surge is about to end and 20,000 US troops are headed back to the states. If Maliki can't defeat the Mahdi Militia now, odds are he wont ever be able to.

On a side note, I hope the Iraqi army wins so US troops can leave.

  • Maybe this will be settled. Then, maybe, it will escalate, the militias will be branded "extremists backed by Iran", and the U.S. will add that to the list of reasons to invade Iran.

  • Maliki is doing the smart thing here. this thing will be settled across table's, and the opposing leader's know this! ai Sadr's dreams; of picking up the pieces after full on civil war is dissipating. so the bartering has begun! and i say smart because it gives Malaki 'street cred' as it were, to be their leading from the front, adding back-bone too the Iraqi army, who will only bond around a strong man......

  • It's Al Sadr who is keeping this thing from blowing up... He's the one who could spark a civil war easily, but he doesn't want that. Maliki, he just got a visit by Cheney remember? Cheney gave his blessings on this idea, to pit shias against eachother. It's not a secret.

Sadr got underestimated though, Maliki had to get evacuated by helicopter from Basra... Heh...

  • Ney my friend! Sadr while cashed up by Iran and the talk of the town at the moment, lacks cred without the hard core Sunni's blowing the fuck out of poor Joe Shite.Sadr is only a force while sectarianism is rampant, hence the "Serge". and no one's asking Maliki to be a hero, just the winner, or the one with the biggest bargaining chip when it one day ends.

  • maliki is still in basra, there are more than 500 casualties among the militias. 120 killed and 450 injured. 40 killed in nasryah, more than 150 arested in provinces (other than basra) also 30 surrendered in karbala 3killed and 17 arrested. if you wondering where i got the info from, from local iraqi tv. most tribes allied with the government, most of the fighting is in the hayanyah neighborhood now. if your lucky you might get to see some news in the western channels

  • the reason he is still breathing is because God wants him to live, he will fight alongside Jesus Christ in eliminating the anti-christ coming from israel via the offspring of the Rothschild

  • its about time, im from basra and im happy that the governemnt finally decided to do something. The voilence in basra is also supported by neighbouring countries, because if basra becomes safe than iraq's GDP would jump from $45B to around $200B, that would destroy iraq surrounding countries economy. None of iraq's nieghbors want basra want basrra to be safe. but i am positive that the iraqi forces are able to take controll of the city.

  • If its not rag tag militias controlling basrah, then it will be USA or other nearby countries. The outcome will never be good as long as that region stays divided.

Iraqis must unite against the occupation, this is the way p. After that, the Muslims must unite under one message (Qur' an) and drive away all the foreign trouble makers and their fellow stooges.

Iraq will never be peaceful as long as USA and its puppet government are in charge.

  • if the militia's didnt exist the british forces would have left. the only way to get the foreign forces out is to controll the country and get rid of the militias. because of the militias, the americans wanted more british troops to return to basra, is that what you want?

as an iraqi, its certainly not what i want, i want a safe country with no foriegn forces. the iraqi government launched the attack so the british troops dont return. your not an iraqi and dont know whats really going on.

  • "if the militia's didnt exist the british forces would have left."

British forces are there, because they are taking a part in the occupation of Iraq p. In other words, they get a piece of the pie like the USA.

Its to destroy Iraq, split it up and revamp the middle east and monopolize OIL resources..etc

Until you wake up and realize that, Iraq will always be what the evil wants it to be: chaotic and gives them a reason to be there. As an Iraqi, you should know better, then again you may not.

  • they had other plans when they invaded iraq, but theyr plans failed and now theyr just loosing money. as an iraq i dont want any militias or foreign forces in my country. i want the country safe so they americans and british could withdraw from iraq. and the only way for iraq to be safe is to get rid of all armed groups (al-qaeda, mahdi army, and other independent groups)

  • "i want the country safe so they americans and british could withdraw from iraq. "

But they don't want to withdraw most likely. That's the point. As long as Iraq remains chaotic, the USA has an excuse to be there to occupy Iraq. Of course their plans have failed and will fail, but their arrogance keeps them there, but they have to retreat with their tale between their legs sooner or later.

  • theyll leave sooner ot later. america's poliics an econoy know depends on iraq, and they want wit withdrawl as soon as they can. but they got themselfs into iraq, they cant just leave it like that and leave.

  • MuckFucker Al-Sadr needs to be taken out, I can't for the life of me understand why he is still breathing.

  • StinkingHombre

There must be some reason that is hidden from our view. I personally would have been happy to see him die a long long time ago.

Of course we can take him out any time it becomes imperative.

  • This bullshit as war if for the Oil industry profiteers on the blood of U.S. soldiers. Who have leaped into an area of misery for years to come. U.S. Oil companies can go to hell! PROTEST THE U.S. OIL COMPANIES AND DEMAND NO INVOLVEMENT IN THE IRAQ REGION! PROTEST!
