I used to love Kanye West. I was a big fan. I used to say he was the best rapper ever! He definitely had potential. But I don't like him so much now, mainly because of him being cocky, and I just don't get his lyrics, they're so confusing to me now, I would have to be from his neighbourhood to understand.

I'm honest. I can see the appeal, but when I realized how much sampling he did, I started looking towards those who really deserved the credit for the music. He's a good rapper but, the best? I'm not sure.

As for his new material, it's different and hard to adapt for fans who knew him since his early days, but it's not as bad as some say it is, it's just different day and age and Kanye's music goes with the times.
