At that location, I'm doing between 35 and 40 mph, but the cars are doing 50+. These motorists won't tolerate somebody on a bicycle blocking "their" way and will buzz you. After one incident, I called it into the Riverside Police Department and was told that there wasn't anything illegal about it. I was told that the driver had to point the car directly at me; as if that's all it takes to harm a cyclist!
I get buzzed all the time but it doe'sent stop me from riding in the road. Also trying to report something like a car passing you too closely wont cause the police to do much of anything..unless you get hit.
Noticed you were riding on a tiny shoulder at 3:09. Why dont you ride in the road where your not squeezed in between traffic. Its much safer.
