Frank Marino, a great guitarist. Ha has a lot of bad songs and a few realy good diamonds. This is one of them, loved it in the 80's and still loving it. Especially at 4:51 ! Goosebumps all over the place. Thanks for placing this recording.
I had the honor of seeing him warm up for Triumph in Albuquerque in 81. Should have been the other way around. You're still inspiring musicians Frank!
Yeaaaaaaahhhh FM kickin bad............grow up with this guy.GOD BLESS..FRANKY u make my morning, evening, night, NICE ....salute 'n respect from GREECE
Known this guy because of Helloween´s version of Juggernaut. Listening to a pair of more tracks... now i want his dischography. Overrated artist for my generation that seems to be a monster of rock.
Frank didn't like the alblum cover on Power of rock and roll, I guess he had no say on that. He complained his records were not getting in the stores either. I never had any problem finding his alblums when they came out. Frank played with more heart and soul than any of todays shredders.
this one is the one to make the deepest impact for me of all the songs Frank has brought for us mortals. Just can't explain the feelings everytime i hear this. And the overaggressive lyrics of course...
Frank's got this incredible gift of playing like he was on fire.
All the mid 70's stuff especially the stuff engineered by Bill Szawlowski is just plain priceless.... The Tempo studio in Montreal whatever equipment they had at the time.
@jamanursula: you are so right here, Frank Marino and Randy Rhoads - just listen to Crazy Train, a particular live take where Randy makes his guitar go crazy. Dimebag Darrell - another metal god - could do the same.
Brilliant song Brilliant guitar , brilliant drums , the more briliant is that he became a Christian !!

I don't see much in common with Frank and Randy.... Randy sounds like he was more trained or schooled guitar player where as Frank is a free spirit.
Listen to "Child of the novelty", "Strange universe " "IV" or even "World anthem". Very weird and wonderful stuff.

@MrSainttyler Trained in what? How stupid are you? Couldn't you say that someone could be trained in the style of Frank Marino?
